Yeah, I had to ask reddit to figure it out. Unfortunately I was in a hurry to get a hold of someone on here and didn't read the thing about the 5 posts.

Its terrible that this board has had to deal with so much spam and trolling but I understand the measures that the administrations are taking to ensure the integrity of the board =] I'm sure I can burn through 4hrs here in no time!
I am just a few posts and hours away from the restriction to uplift from me

What a fantastic Idea having newbie restrictions, I guess this is kind of like the spam for newbies section where any post you make is completely pointless unless you're just trying to get your post count up to 5!!
Well thanks for taking the time to read this guy's I'm already at 2 of 5 and I can't wait to get making a few more completely pointless posts where I can learn some of the great features of this site such as underline during posting.

As has been said- totally makes sense, plenty of advertisements out there, don't need them clogging up message boards
