Noob jail seems very unimaginative and unbecoming of the community surrounding such a novel technology. Nevertheless, I'll post my quota, and have already setup an auto-refresh to get my 4 hours logged in.  Grin
ya I agree.  It's kind of weird to make posts in here when you know you're just doing it to get out of jail.  By the time I'm out of jail I'll have forgot what I wanted to post in the first place.

I been into game design past 4-5 years and been on many forums..
These restrictions are good.   i see so much abuse over years on people just being jerks.
and spamming  a bunch junk.

I think the best way to stop non-related spamming is to charge each new member 0.001 BTC,
It can stop the robot more efficiently.

I spent about 15 min looking and waiting for a verification email that would allow me to post.

This is what completely pissed me off about the newbie restrictions.  They really should make this clearer so that they're not wasting peoples time like this Sad

I actually think this is one of the better ways to handle spammers.  Sure I wish I could go on to the normal forums, but hey, if it keeps the bots out, I'm all for this measure.

*twiddles thumbs for his 4 hour timer lol*

Thanks for clarifying that. Makes sense based on the number of posts this site gets.

Read on an another thread that one needed 50 posts before being allowed to post outside of the Newbie section.
I just found this thread then and realized that this restriction seems to have been lowered in the meantime.

I don't know where everyone keeps reading this outdated info. The restriction was 50 posts for only like 2 days.

Good decision in my opinion, especially when you have been reading around for a longer time without having registered an account.

I think it should be more evident somewhere outside of this forum that you can't post anywhere else. I was looking for the reply/submit button for a long time on another forum Smiley

I wish I had realized this requirement existed a week ago, before I spent hours reading this forum.  I love it by the way.  Shockingly civilized.

Well, thanks for your post. I just wonder where I can post my reports about the metals trading? Please tell me know so that I won't violate any rule of the forum.
Thanks so much!

I have been logged in over 4 hours and have made 15 post, most of which were helping newbies and demonstrating I have  knowledge of Bitcoin Hardware. Please allow me to be freeeeeeeeee thx.  Smiley

For the love of Christ let this one free, I just noticed the user name at the bottom of the forum, can only be bringing quality I'm sure lol

One must ask themselves...how much harm can be done from one CoinHumper ?

kinda a lot to have to go through just to send someone a note that they have a broken link in their faq...

(but at least, if I read the terms right, this post will allow me to send private messages)
