Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely
They can be safer from the possibility of dead coins, but not safe from the loss. There is no guarantee to take profits although newbies choose top altcoins, the prices can go up and down as the common altcoins. Newbies must understand how to manage altcoins assets well, which means they must have sufficient knowledge. This can make them safe enough to invest in altcoins, the knowledge has a bigger role.

Seek for more crypto knowledge before investing in new projects, it's not always that easy to choose, as a newbie it's better to stick with old top altcoins on coinmarketcap, why? Because many newbie are in rush to make fast returns, if you are this type pls go for better top coins, 90% of new coins aren't serious at all, they are here to steal money from investors and give fake promises in return

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Cov-19 have been used to scam many newbies and even Corona virus coins are built too which have no real use cases

Play safe and be willing to learn
Divi is an ideal currency for Newbies to get involved easily and safely.

I think for newbies they just need to stay away from simple bitcoin fork chains like BCH, BSV, LTC, etc
Can all the coins born from the Bitcoin Fork be so bad for newbies? while all the coins are still very much alive in the cryptocurrency space forever.

Look for projects with real usage (hint, most of them are running on Ethereum, but not all).
If not all, then newbies should also check it further so as not to get stuck on the unlucky coin that also uses the Ethereum network when it was built by the developer.

I don't think it's a completely good path. Like it or not, a trader will definitely experience losses, because we know for ourselves that Cryptocurrencies are known for their high risk. All coins are at risk, even Bitcoin and top altcoins. No one knows for sure how the market will move. Especially for beginners, they must really understand crypto before trading so they are not confused in the middle of an unstable market and continue to fall into losses.

This knowledge will increase along with the existing experience, the more experience we have, the more knowledge we get, as well as investment, the more often we invest, the more mature we are in managing it, but basic knowledge about investment must be present, so that we don't invest based solely on forecasts or listen to what people have to say.
In terms of investment, it must always be based on conclusions and decisions that we make personally, because other people's opinions can also not be fully relied upon even though they also say the right things, because good learning is when you are taught by other people for real.

The initial formula must be based on research and knowledge, so investing has really mastered how to do it, at least it can minimize the risks that will occur, for beginners who make it difficult to invest because of the lack of knowledge about the investments they run, so many of them experience risks and fail in investing, so knowledge is important?
Everyone can see and judge where they are newbies who have moved and have also started working on each of their investments, so naturally they have gained a little knowledge about what they are doing because the others will follow themselves over time.

An altcoin being on the "top" doesn't automatically mean it's a "safe" or good investment. I mean, take a look at it! The cryptocurrency market is full of crap. And not to mention that bitcoin is risky and volatile enough for the typical inexperienced investor, and you're going to say that it's better for them to buy coins like Ripplecoin a.k.a. fidget spinner coin? Worst investing advice I've read yet.

Supported... Just because an alcoin is at the top list on coinmarketcap doesn't mean investors are safe to invest in the project. I can't advice anyone to go all in on ripple coin cause I myself don't see that project to have potentials, they are better projects out there like $NEAR, $HAPI, $PYR and more you just need to DYOR before investing. Not a financial advice though

$ Divi is the easiest currency to obtain since its projects are the best, I recommend it since masternode is the best to generate the maximum and Divi wallet is the best wallet
Is DIVI the only currency in the crypto space? so you only choose it for masternode reasons, and if DIVI is the easiest project, how do you get DIVI without spending any initial capital for it? please give the answer perfectly here

You wont get answered. You David Castro used "$" in his post ? This is a sort of hashtag or a symbol for search engines to find this post. He made his post on purpose, just to get a reward from DIVI. This $ helps to DIVI to find his post and pay him. If you make a search, you would find lots of newbie accounts shilling this DIVI.

LOL... this thread was posted one and half years ago. And the price movements since then doesn't justify the argument put forward by the OP. Some of the coins outside the top-10, such as Dogecoin has given astounding profits to those who invested in them. On the other hand, the returns from top coins have been more modest. In some cases like BCH and LTC, the altcoins have returned a lower profit when compared to Bitcoin. So I would not blindly recommend "top" altcoins. Noobs can invest in any altcoin, as long as they have made a proper study on that coin.

That is a great proof that top is nothing. Places in top can be mixed easily. Just on good tweet, and any altcoin from den will shy in top10. What is today in top20, in a month can be on top100 or below. The market is changing so fast, that investing based only on a position in top is the worse thing to do.

Try to find a high cap DeFi app, and then look for much cheaper competitors — the lesser known one may be undervalued.

Seeking knowledge is a must in investing cryptocurrency. It is necessary both for newbies and once already familiar with crypto, and it is a safe move for a beginner or newbie to stick into top coins when investing since it could give them assurance for  a profit even for a long term investments.
Yes, that should be the case because even experienced people also have to look for new knowledge to support existing knowledge so that it is more complete when starting work with steps that he has arranged neatly, because without new knowledge someone will also be constrained when he only relied on old knowledge.

Because of the lack of experience, newbies can be tempted by big APYs in defi-projects, or fast growth of altcoin, or just promises of crypto blogger, and as a result big losses, as if you are promised big earnings, it must be really risky, so it is very important to learn, how this market works, investigate old coins as well as new ones and make you own conclusions.

If they've not listened to the experienced users, they will be tempted to buy new meme coins that aren't even hyped.  Newbies in crypto will always think they have found new crypto that will result to make them money thinking all coin's value will go up just like Bitcoin.

If they see on Facebook and it's doing airdrop, they will join airdrop and will see it trading on 1inch, pancake, or on Uniswap. Facebook ads are just swarming with altcoins these days.

The crypto space is still like the Wild West. A lot of scams, and a lot of shitcoins that are going to go straight to zero. It's a dangerous place for newbies. Many projects have no utility for their token in their ecosystem and new investors aren't yet skilled at determining this, or projects use hype marketing to exploit fear of missing out to convince inexperienced investors to buy the top.

Yes, Newbies in the cryptocurrency market, for them, investing in top altcoins will be safe, but their profit will not be like investing in new altcoins that can achieve a lot and a lot of profits, so there is no objection to investing in top altcoins in addition to promising new altcoins that are still cheap, So you have a lot of time to think and you shouldn't be led by any investment opinion by anyone and stay away from blind investment, you should do your research about the good altcoins in the market and consult the experts.

Actually, for beginners, before entering the world of investment, first explore important knowledge before choosing to jump into crypto investment, because in the world of crypto investment, knowledge is really needed about the procedure for choosing the right coin (analysis) and how to see the right market movement is very important for beginners. beginners, Even Bitcoin as a (top altcoin) is quite risky for inexperienced beginners too

It is true when you say that you have to know how to choose, there have been many scams in recent times, you have to choose wisely so as not to lose our money, I personally am currently doing Staking with Divi, it has seemed like a solid project and it has given me The security for me to invest my money there, I also like the ease I did not complicate when putting my money and super easy, and now more with its Staking vault of its DiviWallet from the phone

In my view, before entering the crypto world, at that time it was said to be a beginner
by friends, so first learn a lot of terms in the crypto world, for example
hodl, pump and dump, blockchain, altcoin, fud and others, because if we don't study
and know more deeply we will not be interested in something so
when we run it not because we like it but because of the invitation of friends, we end up losing
and not enjoying it perfectly...that's my opinion for beginners
