I think its true newbie should learn from top 10 coins for starting invest on cryptocurrency. Its way more safer & if you can read the momentum you will get some profit for sure. Time & experience will teach you many things so just watch & learn.

coins from top 10 bring less risk, but one can not be safe with any coin, and there is a lot of changes within top 10 coins during time, so it is advisable to check each and every coin that you plan to invest in, before investment in particular coin/token
think that only top 2 coins are somehow certain to survive long-term (BTC and ETH) and all the others could leave top 10 in the future, would not be a surprise for me at all

I agree with the fact that it's safer to stick with the top coin in the space. Most new projects lack solid foundations and could be abandoned without much consideration. Investing in the top Cryptos like bitcoin and ethereum gives one a higher degree of security and guarantee that the project won't be abandoned in a hurry

I I aree 100%. There is no need for newbies to play with luck and buy unpopular coins. It is better to try trading on the popular ones and learn how it works. Later on, when newbies learn how to analyze coins' dynamics, they may try their luck on other tokens.

I also believe that the top 10 altcoins of the coingecko ranking are an excellent investment especially for beginners because I believe that their price changes are really minimal or diluted over time

To determine which altcoin assets to hold or which assets to determine the term of profit, beginners must do technical and fundamental analysis so that they are sure to find this definite advantage, not just top altcoins, almost all assets must analyze before making a transaction
I thought that if someone had understood how to analyze a coin, they would no longer be a beginner.

The safest choice for beginners is, of course, Bitcoin and ethereum. No one will disagree with the two coin names above.

yes,The main problem is often beginners choose shitcoins without knowing anything & it's because they want to make quick profits, that's the reason they experience losses. Buying top altcoins will be a good choice to minimize the risk of investment losses.

The top altcoin definitions are not absolute and will change over time, we should correct that perception and remind once again that beginners should know how to research their invested coins and invest their money in the right places. Even myself, including a beginner and I started learning based on my previous experience.

Beginners ought to overlook that altcoins even exist, and they possibly may begin taking a gander at them when they have long periods of involvement in crypto. These digital forms of money are profoundly unpredictable excessively just by picking them isn't going to make your capital any more secure on the off chance that you truly don't have a clue what you are doing so I wouldn't generally suggest this sort of guidance for any amateurs during the end.

yes, if to minimize the risk of loss when investing, beginners are more suitable to take part in the top coins only. but if they like high investment risk appetite then that's up to you. It's just that I agree more that investing with top coins like BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC is at least safe.

All altcoins in the crypto market carries with it some risks. But indeed top altcoins reduce the risks for newbies who are somewhat still may be influenced by hype. That is why it is important for newbies to know that proper and deep research first on how the market behaves and analyzing trends is important to be successful in the crypto business.

Initially yes, its safer to stay with the top altcoins, but to remain profitably in crypto one needs to study the market, research and learn from it, and invest accordingly, slowly moving into better trades and profits.

Investing on top altcoins is safer than on new altcoin, but the profit won't be huge as new altcoin.
True that people said : low risk = low gain, and high risk = high gain.
Once you know the project of new coin is genuine and legit, you can buy their coin and become the early adopter.

The coins that are already on the top coinmarketcap are indeed safer and have great liquidity but to get big profits fast, I think new altcoins like DeFi can be speculated to make a profit. However, high vigilance is needed if you want to invest in new altcoins because they are also prone to pump and dump

Or perhaps they should understand What is "Bitcoin" first before they went for more in depth project like Yield Farms/ Blockchain 3.0 and etc
All these are pretty technical terms where the process is hard to understand if you can't even understand what blockchain is.

Statistics show that the majority of people who go in for yield farming and what not nonsense in defi don't even understand how to read a smart contract. And they don't even understand the basic underlying calculations so they have zero clue about the risk they're placing their funds under. So you know, this research aspect doesn't mean nothing for most people.

Bitcoin alone is the safest bet.

I think reading the smart contract would be too technical for most of the investors. What they must do is do a basic research first like the team and what they are trying to solve.

Yeah if you can go through the smart contact then that's even better .

Newbies are safer with top altcoins until they start learning how to choose wisely, do better diggings on new project to avoid scams

Agree with this

I tottaly believed on what you have said that we should first study what project to join. In terms of newbies entering the world of trading and investing on projects, it is good choice to stick on top altcoins first as a beginner. Because there are a lot of newbies and beginner on trading that wants an easy money and that may harm them if they are hasty to earn on crypto business.

When I was new I couldn't decide which one was fake. Every project was legitimate for me. I lost some money because of this situation. If newbies are staying with top altcoins, definitely they will learn to invest in 2 years. Just don't get to sleep with top altcoins  Wink. Research on every new altcoins to invest in the future. Here are my tips: don't invest so many coins in a year because legit project numbers are very few in a year.
