I tried to install the wallet, but the video tutorials are out of date and the link to the recent database file from the first page is broken, so everything is slightly different from a current situation. So I tried a download links from nexusearth.com
I ended up having two versions of the wallet - 0.2.0.5 and 2.2.2.
The first one runs smoothly and starts within few seconds, but can't load the recent database file. The second version takes 3-5 minutes to start, which is reall pain, but it connected itself to the database file without any problem.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Smiley

Go to slack for the answer ! Someone can be help you

Thanks for the response, I'm already registered on Slack Wink, but maybe also other members could have the same problem like me, so I think it's better to post the question here, so others can also find an answer here. A big dissadvantage of slack is, that it's more like chat than a forum, so you can't find if someone already asked/answered your kind of problem.

Advancing Liberty Through Blockchain
Please join us tomorrow at 21:00 UTC (4:00PM EST) for a YouTube Live (formerly Google Hangout) Event with the Nexus Team.

This will be a freestyle format like our previous hangout.  We will post the link in multiple places ahead of the event.

It is an exciting time for Nexus.  A lot has been happening.  Here are some of the things that have been going on recently.

We have welcomed some new Team members including Bryan Gmyrek, PhD (Core Developer), Jessica Hartman (Marketing Specialist), and Houssam (Web Developer/CPU Pool Operator).

Colin and Bryan, along with grass roots Nexus marketer Morpheus, attended the North American Bitcoin Conference to do some networking and help spread the word about Nexus.

Colin has also done several interviews/podcasts recently to help increase the visibility of Nexus.

Wallet Version 3.0 with Trust Key Depreciation (expiration extension) update, Lower Level Database (LLD) integration, and other updates is just around the corner.

The front end graphics for a new GUI wallet has been coded and is being reviewed and tweaked which will have the backend coding completed in the near future.

The White Paper is being updated and will explain current and future features of Nexus, as well as, plans for the Network and Platform.

We are working on revamping the nexusearth.com website with a new theme and layout along with some additional information including a FAQs page.  Also being incorporated and expanded into nexusearth.com are the features from nexusoft.io/platform with statistics and explorer.

A forum for Nexus, nxsforum.com, has been created by Community member @etakmit, who also recently set up a third Nexus CPU pool at nxspool.com.

We have begun putting together a Marketing Team and developing a marketing plan.

Our Subreddit www.reddit.com/r/nexusearth/ has a couple new Admins who have added a wiki and increased post frequency. They will also work to try and build the Community on Reddit.  Feel free to join, like, and post.

We have also set up a Team Project Management board on Meister Task to coordinate some of the ongoing activities.

The Nexus Community is great and it is wonderful to watch it grow and prosper. Our Slack Group now has over 900 members and our Facebook Group has over 300 members!  Thanks to everyone who makes Nexus what it is Smiley

it's on a pool, but never the less I'm excited, giddy like a little kid! lol Grin

It's amazing how crypto does that isn't it? Lol It's magical. Making money with tech that's on the cutting edge and most people don't know about. I think back to the early 90s when the Internet was brand new and only nerds could understand and use it. One day we're all gonna look back and remember when we had to configure our mining config files, or remember reading hashes and hashrates, or copying a long address of seemingly random numbers and letters just to send somebody some money. 20 years from now all of this is gonna look very different, but we'll all remember, and say ya, I remember that.

Blockchain technology is amazing indeed.  The interesting thing is that is that they run off of older database structures.  Nexus is taking this to the next level with the development and implementation of the Lower Level Database (LLD).  This is just one of the innovations that Nexus has developed, but is one that will have wide ranging uses in computing.
