Nice comeback for the Steelers in the 4th quarter after being down so badly in the first half 29-0.
They just couldn't get anything offensively done but then it came down to the last throw of the game to possibly tie it up if they did score (needed a two point conversion to get it to 36 even).
It was a stressful but exciting match if you were a Vikings fan.

As for the question posed by @buwaytress on who were more likely to make it through the final showdown:
I would say the Patriots on that list of teams you had dibs on from the start of the season.

TNF once again, I don't like these two teams since both of them are somewhat inconsistent but i'm taking the extra points on the side of the Steelers. I'm thinking this will end in a field goal win since Steeler's usual winning margin boils down within less than 3 points.

Yeah I'm with Steelers not just because I like these kind of teams always punching above their weight, but capable of losing spectacularly too, and I think this game they'll edge, but with a bigger margin. I'll have to start paying attention to the stats a little with all these different scoring systems but for now, still betting blind.

There's still a month left before the playoffs so if everything goes as expected on the side of Packers and Patriots then they should lock both of the playoff spots.

The only question is which seeding they'll get based on their standings.

I tend to like the lower seedings in playoffs, stats-wise they don't do well but I always feel like it's better to get the hard work done first, as in KO formats, the teams who have it "easy" en route to finals seem to let their foot off the gas when it matters.

So, guys, NFL n00b here, be wary. Could someone tell me where we're at with all this playoff goings on. Just to remind myself, these were my preseason picks on outright winners:

So, guys, NFL n00b here, be wary. Could someone tell me where we're at with all this playoff goings on. Just to remind myself, these were my preseason picks on outright winners:

Steelers @37.3
Dolphins @34
Patriots @34
Seahawks @25.2
Packers @14.2

According to Sportsbet.io odds right now, these are:
Steelers @91
Dolphins @251
Patriots @8
Seahawks @251
Packers @8.5

So I'm not doing too badly, then? 2 of my 5 picks are in the Top 5. But exactly how far away are we from finding out who goes through and all that? Uncle Google is confusing me.

After my MLB heartbreak with BoSox, I'd love to get some happiness from Super Bowl =)

Bills were on the ropes most of the match and New England with their rookie quarter back are still rolling on with another win.
I think Mac Jones will win the rookie of the year for his winning streak and getting by all these championship teams in his first year in the league.

So it is looking good for that handicap pick so far "the NFL sharp one" ralle14!
Thanks  Cheesy I don't think i'm the NFL sharp since i've had my fair share of losses but i'm trying my best to share the picks that I like.  Wink

Moving on to MNF we have an interesting divisional match between the Patriots and Bills, for this one, i'll go with the Bills to win @1.66 I know the Bills are somewhat struggling as of late but at the same time this will be a good way to put the rising Patriots to the test. I just think the Patriots have to regress at one point and imo this is one of them.

Edit : Loss, Bills had some good chances late in the 4th quarter as they're able to stop the Patriots but they blew it and turned the ball over in downs.

It is a solid pick for the Cowboys as Lamb took it to the 1 yard line with a big run on a hand off from Prescott.
Gallup with the 1 yard catch near the back of the endzone to put them up 7 early for the first score of the night.

Today i'm taking the Cowboys -6.5 initially I was leaning on plus points on the side of the Saints since the Cowboys didn't look that great against the Raiders last week and now that both teams are missing key players I think the Cowboys have the upper hand. Everything points to a Dallas win the only question is if they'll win by a field goal or a touchdown. I just hope it's the latter because they need to build some momentum if not they might struggle in the next upcoming matches as most of them are the remaining divisional matches.

Interesting news and thanks for the update of those players.
I agree with you if this is a divisional match then Russel will play even if he isn't fully healed from surgery yet.

There is the prediction challenge up for Thursday night football tomorrow between the Cowboys vs Saints.

@rdbase. Breaking news. Deebo Samuel and Fred Warner are injured and they will not play versus the Seattle Seahawks. They are the best of the offense and the defense of San Francisco. I am not certain how the spread should be, however, I reckon -3.5 for San Francisco should be -2.5 for less than a field goal?

Also, this is a divisional game. I am quite certain that Russel Wilson will certainly play and both 49ers and the Seahawks will play to win.

@ralle14 Good call on the Washington game with them winning it quite convincingly with a 17-9 lead going into the final minutes of the 4th quarter.
But then as we all know with NFL games the other team always rallys a comeback to make it close in the dying minutes left.
So they did an offside kick and managed to get the possession to make it alot closer than it should of been with 17-15.
But the last offside kick did not go in their favor so that sealed the deal with 34 seconds remaining and WFT kneeling to run down the clock to double zeroes. A pretty exciting game and I had them to win with the under but of course had it in a parlay so it got snuffed out even before the game ended.
The first blocked extra point kick with a return of the season was done by Seattle, which gave them the 2 points to make it tied 9-9 early in the second half.

@ralle14. The Buccaneers were very lucky on the final minutes of the game. The Colts defense were controlling them for much of the game and with Tom Brady only having 11 fantasy points in our fantasy league.

It also appears you are correct with the Redskins hehe. Seattle is only 3 - 7 in the NFL and at the bottom of their division. They are also 1 - 4 on the road. The only win on the road was versus San Francisco during the 49ers’ losing streak.
Seattle is officially not able to make it to the playoffs so their season is done. Any games they have left will probably see Wilson sitting off the remainder of the season so to heal his hand which just had surgery on.
Was surprised with San Francisco winning against Minnesota over the weekend. So they are still in it for the post season.

Yeah after that turnover from Wentz it was just all Bucs, both teams kept on scoring but the Bucs hold on until the very end.

I also took the Patriots but only the team total over 25.5 as they're just one hell of a scoring machine recently.

For the MNF i'm taking WFT to win @2.03, while I agree that Seahawks have the slight edge as they're facing tougher teams I just think WFT have good value at home given that they're putting up wins.

Brady and the Buccs were too much in the fourth for Wentz and the Colts. There was a bit of a comeback in the dying minute of the fourth quarter.
Had New England to win and the Brady bunch but being as it may had a match in the NBA not making my parlay a winner.
Should of stuck with NFL for all the bets with a good win by Baltimore against the browns for the last match of the night.
That was a wild one with 3 interceptions in the final minute of play just before the half. I think I counted 5 change of possessions due to fumbles.

Gonna roll with the Colts +3.5 as they're starting to look like a solid team winning 5 out of the last 6 matches.

On the other side, you've got Tampa Bay struggling on the road losing against WFT and the Saints. I honestly see this one as a toss up and I wouldn't be surprised if Colts come out on top here.

Edit : So far so good, Colts leading 24-14.  Grin

Pulled the trigger on the Bills -6.5 @1.60 not the best odds as I got it when the Bills are getting first down after first down but I still think it's decent enough as the Saints couldn't get anything going at the moment.

Looking good so far with the Bills getting the first TD, hopefully the Bills defense keeps it up and get another stop.  Cheesy
That was a good call on the Bills there ralle14!
Sharp as always.

I was on the Saints after seeing Las Vegas just taking it to the Cowboys at Dallas so was expecting some kind of upset to happen in the last match of the day. But it didn't come to pass.
Bills were dominate with a 31-6 thrashing of those boys in the state of texas.
No football til Sunday. Enjoy the weekend to you!

@rdbase. You appear to be a football expert hehe. I am aware that San Francisco’s team is beginning to look healthier than weeks ago. However, what are your thoughts on the Minnesota Vikings +3? They will play on the road vs. San Francisco 49ers with a record of only 1 - 4 in their home stadium and 4 - 6 against the spread. Minnesota is 6 - 4 against the spread.
Vikings are a stronger team in my eyes than the 49ers. Both teams are 5-5 thus far in the season, so it looks they are pretty evenly matched.
Here is an injury report so far before this match on Sunday:
https://www.dailynorseman.com/2021/11/25/22801961/minnesota-vikings-san-francisco-49ers-initial-injury-reports
Cousins is healthier than Garoppolo so I would go with Minnesota on that one.
Trey Lance is looking alot better than him too so they are saying he is the future of the San Francisco team.
Good read on how Kirk is doing and looking aggressive in his play:

Today there are games all day long as it is Thanksgiving here in the states.
So here are the three games being played. The early one is in about 3 hours from now, so there is still time to place a bet on all three of them.

Well it was a bad run of the favorites to win today, again.
Bills got destroyed by the Colts and Titans well, just didn't produce anything late into their game but get dunked by a much weaker team.
Yeah, that was rough but didn't put much on the parlay so I was able to recover and gained some thanks to the single bets I placed throughout the day.

My pick for this MNF is the Giants +11.5 @2.00 these past few weeks they're looking decent winning against the Panthers and Raiders, even though they lost against the Chiefs they still kept it close.
