I couldn't follow every match today, but at least my pool predictions did okay with six points and i'm glad the Texans didn't let me down against the Jags keeping my survivor hopes alive.

I also have an over ticket for Bills vs. Ravens game, both teams have good offense that can score a lot of points and their defense could easily allow 2-3 touchdowns.

Lost my betslip on the very first match today with the Jets not winning their match this Sunday.
I believe they cost many their bets as they were heavy favorites being @1.23x on some bookmakers pre-match.
They might be the only parlay killer as every other big favorite won their match.

In around 15 minutes from now we will have the biggest matchup for this NFL Sunday between the Ravens vs Bills:

These two teams are the biggest ticket everybody wants to watch for the final match of this NFL Sunday.

The Giants blew so many chances and dropped a few crucial passes that could've pushed them to score a touchdown. I wanted them to kick it in the end for my pickem to hit but I know it's impossible when it's a one possession game.

Week 4. The Giants and the Cowboys started it great but we have so many games before this week ends.
The Saints could be in trouble with the injuries, but it feels like a trap to see the Falcons as a favorite.

The Vikings' odds are so juicy and at the same time, it makes me think they could be due for a loss, maybe the handicap could be a solid play.

Oh yeah, just checked the injuries right now.

Quote
The Saints ruled out linebacker Demario Davis (hamstring) and right guard Cesar Ruiz (knee) on Friday. Neither player practiced this week.
Quote
New Orleans has plenty of other injury concerns, as running back Alvin Kamara (hip, ribs) and receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. (ankle) have each missed time this week in practice.

And the Falcons are hurting too.
Quote
The Falcons, meanwhile, are still without linebacker Nate Landman (calf, quad) and center Drew Dalman, who are both on injured reserve.
Quote
Also inactive for Atlanta is right tackle Kaleb McGary,
Thank you for sharing that @ralle14. I could've missed that if I didn't check today. Yes, it feels like a trap but with so many injuries with the Saints then I'd rather take the risk for the Falcons.

I think this is a better link where every team's injuries are covered.

But still, double check guys especially those who are in questionable status.

Their wins were against the same team (Cleveland Browns) and the gap is still massive.

Dallas' close loss against the Ravens last week makes me think they should win against this Giants team, but with the underdog trend still in full force we could maybe see the Giants break the H2H records.

I also have the Giants covering in my pickem because it's rare to see the Cowboys a bit vulnerable, still I wouldn't be surprised if this is the turning point for them.

Sole matchup for TNF with the Cowboys going up against the Giants.
Dallas are the heavy favorites even if both are having a dismal start to their season the bookmakers are seeing them beat New York at their home field.

Here are the lines and the markets just below it:

Yeah congrats to you again ralle14 on a perfect prediction on these two last games.
I put the exact opposite so ended in a dismal 4 out 12 for the week. I should be in last place in the pool with those results.

Buffalo really laid it on the Jags and it all began with that Hamlin interception. Remember the guy who had a medical emergency after a hit and they thought died on the field?
https://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/sports/nfl/damar-hamlin-interception-buffalo-bills/5822619/

Great recovery by him and it set the tone for the rest of the game where they out scored Jacksonville 47-10.

The Bengals looked bad all game long for the other match being played where they lost to Washington 38-33 as you had mentioned you bet against the heavy favorites last night.
Cincinnati were 1.30x prematch so that takes them to 0-3 and winless on the season.

Chiefs actually covered so that was a win for those who picked them in the pool.
So with that I am 4/10 for this week 3.  Woohoo! Roll Eyes

With tonight's matches can get above the 500 mark so I will be survive if I get those two correct.
Going with the underdog for one of them and the other a clear win.
I'm surprised the Chiefs' defense managed to stop them at the final drive when the Falcons were so close to scoring a game-winning touchdown and they had two chances to take back the lead.

I have the Bills to cover the spread in the first match then the Commanders in the second match, even though the Bengals are 0-2, I still imagine they can keep it a one-possession game.

Edit: Nice recovery for me 2/2 on the Bills and Commanders to end the round with 7 points.

Last night I was worried for Kelce because he only had 4 yards receiving for the first half but found his groove back in the second.
For my bet last night only needed a TD from either team to get over the 46.5pt spread.

Looks like your betslip won back for that game.
So congrats to you ralle14!

Haven't checked out this thread since then as it was busy weekend in sports and since I went 1-8 for the Pick'em pool I couldn't even watch any of the games in the league today.
The Jets match safely went under thanks to their defense.  Cheesy

I'm also struggling with my predictions for the Pickem pool (4-8), I got destroyed by trusting the big favorites (Bucs, 49ers, Browns, Raiders) and the underdogs I took fell short by a few points (Saints and Cardinals).

I got the Chiefs for the SNF match, and i'm starting to think I took the wrong bet after the Falcons easily got the first touchdown.

But we have one final matchup for this Sunday night football with the Chiefs vs Falcons:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/american-football/usa/nfl/atlanta-falcons-v-kansas-city-chiefs-66e140f40d6af00001cbdc1e

Believe the Chiefs can beat the Falcons even though they are coming off that win against the Eagles with Cousins at the helm.
Their odds are 1.55x so the bookmakers think so too.
But will they cover the spread?
We will see in about the next half an hour when the game begins.

Welcome to the pool, it's still doable since we had an underdog week previously and you can probably close the gap if you could have an average of 10 points a week.

The under 39.5 points felt like the best play for TNF as it's a divisional game and they tend to get close. We could see something similar to the Bears and Texans match a few days ago and have both sides struggling to convert points.

I also picked the Jets in my survivor pool, thinking I could squeeze them this week and save the best teams for the tougher weeks.

Next, the Jets versus the Patriots. Thursday night.

After winning against the Titans yesterday, they sure will be the favorite, and the Patriots losing against the Seahawks.
Aaron Rodgers will be the key here, their last game was not that pretty but they still won it. He may not play the same way because of that Achilles tear but still, he did great with two touchdowns and no interceptions against the Titans.
Here we go! Grin

The game is just about to begin and the odds since you posted them two days ago haven't changed at all for the money line.

I do like the Patriots to cover and on the Pick'em pool they are +7.5 aswell since I just had to check my pick which I flipped flopped abit on since.
Heard some records going against the Jets so will see if Rodgers fulfils that one where he hasn't passed for more than 300+ yards on TNF yet as announced right at the start of the broadcast.
Thursday Night Football, here we go.

https://www.nfl.com/schedules/thursday-night-football/

Here is the injury report in case you want to bet on the game.
Quote
Patriots at Jets (-6) (Thursday night)
Patriots: OT Vederian Lowe (knee), G Sidy Sow (ankle), LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (shoulder), LB Oshane Ximines Knee) OUT; C David Andrews (hip), OL Mike Onwenu (wrist), S Jabrill Peppers (shoulder), DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (shoulder) QUESTIONABLE
Jets: LB Jermaine Johnson II (Achilles) OUT; LB C.J. Mosley (toe) QUESTIONABLE
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/week-3-nfl-injury-report-justin-herbert-misses-practice-while-jordan-love-returns-star-wrs-deal-with-issues/

I heard CJ Mosley is 50/50 to play for the Jets after he exits in their last game against the Titans. And worst he didn't attend practice for the whole week. So might as well, consider that he will not play tonight.
From that injury report, I would imagine some have returned back to their starting lineups. Especially those who were questionable to make it intime for this matchup.

Better late than never!
You were the last one to sign-up in the Pick'em pool so you are showing right at the bottom of all others on the leaderboard and when I clicked on your username it says record: 0-16.
But as many have noticed, places can change in this type of pool within the match/gameday from week to week.
So nobody is really safe and even the ones at the bottom of the pool can make up ground very fast.

As for example, I was right in the middle of the pack but after having a horrible week of major upsets spattered throughout the weekend forced me  with those bottom feeding in the pool.
But that can either change or break within the coming weeks. We just started so don't lose hope one bit rohang, it is just the beginning.

Since as @danherbias07 has already mentioned we have one more day until the next match in the NFL, so I decided to turn on the old netflix app and began watching this series I have been meaning to watch ever since I had read about the one about Tom Brady over on Apple+ TV.

Quarterback featuring Patrick Mahomes life as a champion of the NFL Superbowl twice in a row.
To my surprise they also had Kurt Cousins being documented on at the very beginning of the series too!
He was still on the Vikings but still, it was strange watching this and how he hand a beating to the Eagles and Hurts just a couple of days ago. On episode three so have about five more to go and watching it sparingly.
Not able to binge watch this one like I did for The Dynasty: New England Patriots

They do plan on releasing a second season of this Quarterback series with another player but Peyton Manning is still in the hunt for a viable candidate for it first:
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/netflixs-quarterback-season-two-1235582150

So right after finishing up with this one, will probably check out the next one they released called Receiver.
Don't know who is featured in this one but from the success of Quarterback had it should be just as good being released by the same NetFlix film makers:

I expect them to cover the spread and with points to spare.
The Eagles had that one good pass to Barkley in the final few minutes of the fourth quarter, then he dropped it, that could've been an easy first down and more.

The Falcons suddenly showed signs of life on their final drive, while the Eagles' defense failed to get a stop and gave up 10+ yards on every play.

I thought my bet was in a good spot after the Eagles kicked the FG and the Falcons burned all their timeouts, but I was wrong when the Eagles' defense was almost nonexistent.
So that's what happened. Thank you for the update @ralle14, I missed the game.

Yes ralle14 they are looking like the stronger side right now in the first quarter just beginning with Saquon taking the ball up the field all by himself.
Remember that the Falcon's quarterback suffered an achilles tear but seemed to play fine during their preseason.

@DireWolfM14
What happened to the player you said left on your thread for the Pick'em pool? They paid for their entry on time right? As you had mentioned you extended the deadline for those who still wanted to join up.
