You have an older version of optiminer... you have 1.5.0 in this latest release.   Optiminer is now up to 1.6.1 for equihash

CryptoNight sgminer not bench marking on any of my AMD cards across 7 systems... just sits there and does nothing.  There isn't even a load on the card during that bench mark.

Well it works good but strange behaviour on 4 GTX1080 that usually do 5GH they stick around 4GH..
The other rig is on same performance as the opencl miner 7.5GH.

They have also a miner called Excavator 1.0.0a i don't know if it is nvidia only but they showed it in the pascal thread

You can test alpha of Excavator from:
https://nicehash.com/tools/excavator_v1.0.0a_Win64.zip

working great, now only waiting for nhm integration as im using that for my nvidia cards Smiley

interesting, seems nvidia only and probably based on eqm/nheqminer from the looks

my initial question was regarding amd gpus, i hope there is a fix soon Cheesy

edit: nevermind, its working well on amd multi card rigs if supplied with the magic extra params also noted on suprnova

i would love to use it but yours and ocminers sgminer produce a very high cpu load thus making mining impossible on multicard rigs, any eta?

Code:
sgminer.exe -k pascal -o stratum+tcp://pascal.eu.nicehash.com:3358 -u 1M948TedPdVkbk59TMnYJhtW5BFTXKPfFL -p x -I 21 -w 64 -g2 --gpu-platform 0

I am using sgminer-gm v5.5.5 to sell cryptonight hash to "stratum+tcp://cryptonight.usa.nicehash.com:3355" but all I get is rejects.

6 x RX480 rig

Is this normal?

You need to use this version: https://github.com/nicehash/sgminer-gm

fan problem still there when sgminer kicks in.. i.e. fan drops to minimum when switching to-from sgminer in it's respective algorithm.

You should enable (check) the "Disable AMD Temperature Control" under Settings.

That solved the problem.

Next question is how do i get Optiminer to default for Zcash?   Optiminer just released 1.6.1 and it's faster than claymore 11.1 for 290x cards.  i have a couple rigs with 290x.

AMD OptiminerZ/Zcash v1.4.0 - to enable this miner set "AMD_Equihash_3rdParty": 1 in configs\General.json file  <-isn't working

NiceHash Miner v1.7.4.3

Download:
https://www.nicehash.com/?p=nhmintro

This is a minor bug-fix release and minor feature updates.

You all need to add Claymore as a 3rd party ETH miner option, it works fine and doesn't have all these driver issues you're having with the ETH Miner and SGMiner.

It is not up to us.
Ask Claymore to modify his miner so it will fit the NiceHash Miner.

the deficiencies that were noted in 1.7.4.2 appear to been fixed.  I'm not having the screen flicker when i turn the monitor on and there are no detrimental fan speed changes when changing algorithms.  I like the new copy setting from one card to another card setting's feature.

once you allow benchmarking into a user's btc address again, i'll use your software again.

not sure what you mean by this. but if the bechmarks bug you because you dont make anything during that time you can do it yourself by just running the program and noting what you get speed wise and input your own numbers.

they benchmark into their own btc address.  This started around august 2016.  Before that, the benchmark was into your own address.  and you do earn btc while benchmarking.

it was pointed out in this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/nicehash-benchmark-mining-wallet-address-1767045
