The target of ongoing drop is somewhere between weekly ma20 (540) and daily ma200 (490).
I think break of daily ma 200 has low odds to happen (or may happen without closing below it - instant bounce). If it close below d/ma200 - it would be bearish sign. Unless it doesn't - we have a normal correction of 198 - 778 rally.

"I don't see core devs changing their position. The organizers of this meet and greet have been trying to down play the meeting as just a 'social event' to improve miner developer relations. Probably because the optics of the last meeting that took place in HK were so bad. People are being groomed to expect nothing. If all goes to core's plan that is exactly what will come out of this, nothing.
On the other hand if the rumors of substantial miner dissatisfaction that have surfaced over the past couple weeks are true then post meeting you could see miners move to adopt a block-size increase independent of the core team.
I think the downward price pressure you are seeing right now is people's pessimism that there will be a break from the current status quo.
My personal opinion is that the influential core devs want to ensure SegWit is adopted because they need it to develop their for profit use cases on top of BTC. SegWit is a pretty risky change because of it's complexity. In order to ensure they get what they want, SegWit, they are holding the block size hostage until they can put both in at once. SegWit still isn't stable enough for inclusion even though the code was released months ago. So I think right now you are seeing them trying to push off a block size increase until they can get the problems with SegWit worked out because they fear if they capitulate and do the size increase now then they won't have any leverage to get people to use SegWit."

Lots of questions about core, annd blockcstream interest by Chinese. Looks like Chinese are getting impatient. They want HF.
Could see a bitcoin geo-political event in bitcoin in the near future. Unless Core pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

Was looking at this Ethereum chart - 15 minutes.
What struck me most was the part labelled ABC BTC Chart.
An uncanny resemblance to the long bear from Dec 2013 till October 2015 up to now and still more leg room
What was most interesting is the bit after a top is reached ie after the U shape reaches a peak. Notice the sell off - almost a cup and handle. Perhaps EW ABC before finally going up on a rally

Hit a top at $1000, sell off final then move up for the mega moon talk rise?

Thanks! I'm signing up at that website, they have some free content so I'm going to start with that.
I'm sure its a lot of work but definitely worth it, since the same principles apply to stocks, gold, any type of trading really.
(I know a lot of people that trade BTC and altcoins also trade stocks etc)

Elliot Waves International 10 DVD Educational Series from elliottwave.com is really really good to start with I think (that's what I did,and god damn it looked really easy). But it's not that easy, and it's a lot of work, you'll need motivation (words from someone stuck in the learning process).

I agree with master that we will visit 450-500 usd zone before the next pump

This is in progress. 420-500 is the target imo.
The bearish picture remains the same with target 450 through a bear flag and enormous support at 420. Daily bands coiling, bold move expected soon.
