It's just speculation at this stage and people are free to speak doom against bitcoin but if you factor in the rate at which people are getting interested in bitcoin on a daily basis then it's evident that it is far from a currency without future because the youth who are our future are impressively adopting it by the day.

"You of little faith" why are you so afraid of bitcoin going down it's value? never do I have though of bitcoin be dethrone by other Cryptocurrencies it will continue to be on the Top and right now it's price had increase back again to $11,000 mark. I really think OP don't know anything about bitcoin, Try to check the history of movement of bitcoin you will see that the same thing happen to it back then many miners think that bitcoin price will be gone and they really want to sell their hold coins but it spring back up and much stronger when it did.

In my opinion, bitcoin will grow in the future. Everyone in the world is aware of bitcoin more, bitcoin prices are increasing. In the future if there are applications that meet the requirements of consumers. Maybe cash will be digitized. Instead, it is a world without cash.

Bitcoin will be very hard to beat. The level of trust, support and awareness is high compared to other upcoming technologies. Anything is however possible but we are years away from seeing the downfall of btc. It probably won't happen!

For me i see for future bitcoin was be able to innovates and have more new things and businessess involves here. Although the old ones has thier but since the future is too many large-scale projects and too many new thing so that bitcoin cannot be stay on the past but can drives also in future and its capable to deal with it. Bitcoin can be involve for the future because bitcoin is not too known and used by any country so that this comming years it will growth.

For me no one can defeat bitcoin value price,maybe there's other coin will accelerate but not as bitcoin price.Bitcoin really the future not only with us who starting up but also to our kids someday.It would be great and even if the years pass by,bitcoin will still leading as a cryptocurrency that helping us be become a millionaire someday.

yes I agree with that. Recently Segwit2X implemention takes the 11x algorithm and encryption on blockchain technology. So security is improved in this platform and some upcoming are innovation also possible in future. I believe this technology because Satoshi development teams are improved.
