If you are on a website, coinmarketcap can not find information about tokens so most of the time it makes no sense or this is a pyramid selling token. Marketbookcap only lists coins that have a trading volume above a certain limit. They have full terms and prerequisites to register a coin on their website.

I think there are some criterias CoinMarketcap check before listing a cryptocurrency on their site. At first during ICO coins are not listed on their site yet but after IC0 they should be listed. Sometimes it takes a month plus to be listed if you have all criterias.

There is only one criterion of getting on CMC - this is the daily trading volume, which should consistently exceed 100K within a few days Cool

Yes alot of coin not listed in Coinmatketcap , this is because the team developer does not enough fund for marketing. But usually that coin will listed in coinlib, and maybe because they pay less for listing there. Worth to invest or not in this coin, this is depend on the fundamental of the coin, what problem they want to solve and what their product, also the team developer should solid to development the purpose of the project. Make invest in this coin is offer higher reward but also higher risk.

I noticed a lots of coin on exchange site which are not listed on coinmarketcap. Should I buy those coin/token?

crypto coins not listed are relatively new and don't have much trading volume.  always do research before buying and investing in these coins.  some are really good projects and worth to buy and hodl and will give you large profit.  most others will simply die down and scam victims of their money.

There is statistic data. It says that dew percent of ICO campaigns will have profitable results in future. So be aware where are you putting your money. It would be just scam project and nothing more.

They have to trade in big bourses and have a good volume. So there's nothing to worry about, if the project is good, it will be there. There are too many coins coming into the market now so they just add a coin with a volume big enough to prove that it's worth it.

I think the list on the coinmarketcap is incomplete and I've experienced so often so if you want to know more clearly on the altcoin you have, check on the project's website.

Some coins are still on their starting point where the just lunched their project, some are still reaching the requirements to be listed on the market cap, so don't be on hurry to see them on the list, and yes you can buy their tokens, and just wait for it on the market list.

Coinmarketcap only listing the high vulume tokens and coins low vulume coins will not be listed in coinmarketcap since they did not meet the vulume lemit of coinmarketcap per daily trading vulume.
I agree with that. The coinmarketcap listing of crypto takes several steps and the enumerated lists vary greatly. They need to be selective, some crypto has been removed from the coinmarketcap. Jobs listed can also take a considerable cost.

I think the coin market cap is not a reference for all crypto. There presents a high volume with crypto in my opinion. so if crypto is not listed there, then it is okay for investment but certainly do the analysis first so as not to expose the scam of the crypto.

hello mate, before investing something or buying those coins that has no market value yet better you investigate first for there platforms. maybe those are newly finished ICO's that doesn't have market value and has an good potential to invest with that coin, or in the other part of this is those coins has no market value because those coins will turn out to be an shit coins. that why better to investigate first before investing to that coin.

I think those are silent coin that are capable of becoming a force in the nearest future. You can invest in those coin but with a very minimal money so as not to loose much if they later fumbled.

As a rule, coins do not go there at once. To do this, they must trade on large exchanges and have good volumes. So there is nothing to worry about, if the project is good, it will definitely go there.

actually not all coins are indeed listed on coinmarketcap. It's just that some are indeed listings in that area. Especially for coins with a pretty hefty price. You can also do a check to see the market availability of the coins.
With low volume, it's impossible to get listed in coinmarketcap.
Why is it necessary to get listed? Because this site is popular and people check on this site to look for coins to invest, so the team needs
to work to gain 24 hours trading volume of at least $100,000 in order to get listed AFAIK.

For a trader who cares for his or her own profit like me doesn’t care for coin been listed on Coinmarketcap. All I care for is making my own profit. If a coin/token would give me X2 or more, why will I be searching for listing on Coinmarketcap around.

Coinmarketcap is a company to assess an ICO and the price of the coin when listing in the market. Other companies / websites that look like Coinmarketcap there are many, only the more famous are coinmarketcap and coingecko. So, the listing of coin in coinmarketcap is not a good guarantee of the coin. Many coins listing in coinmarketcap have a very unstable price even said to fail. And many coins are not listing in coinmarketcap, but the price is stable and even successful.

Normally new coins are not listed to Coin Market Cap immediately so if you are sure about the coin then there is no problem to invest in that coin but always make research about the coin before investing in it.
