I will be focusing purely on the NOXT deliverables as mentioned. Because they will include NOBL payments (including the marketplace) they will all continue to run. I am still hoping to hear from PD to wrap up the PoS transition, but then require new leadership to promote and bear the brunt of NOBL promotion and community-related work and communication.

very good decision to focus full on NOXT

NOBLE isnt broken its working coin
u can leave it run in state as it is now for long time

once NOXT is a success NOBLE can fullfil a role there

NOXT is the key to success

and while u full focused there
NOBLE community can show what they can deliver
special in area POS if they want it that bad.......

i think only people who can really understand the ongoing pressure that u suffer
are people who themself in lead of a coin

i can say highest respect for the long time u able to run this as a one man show
i can say for sure i wouldnt be able hold out that long without teammates who gave me power back

and once u announced to run a second big project (NOXT) i did clear see it will be to much without gather a team

focus full on NOXT can be the solution that make that project a success and longterm have possitive aspects on NOBLE too

No blame from me either, and I'm saddened you got burnt out that way.

I hope you will be able after a break to reconsider your position about Cryptos, while I understand it will leave scars, you also learned an awful lot, and it would be a shame to let all that go to waste. If not in a position of pressure/leader, but more for consulting, reviewing, writing articles, that kind of things, ie. more as an opinion leader or critic than a day-to-day operations man.

Noblecoin will certainly take a beating in the short term, but it could be an opportunity for a reboot, maybe rather than hurrying to replace you, there could be some room to discuss how things could be done differently to allow more people to help, and what could be done to avoid the pitfalls of the first year, both in terms of day-to-day help, and in terms of directions.

I can help with the technical side, would be happy to contribute to the more "philosophical" side of Noble, and would be delighted if you Rofo, were to stay around even just to provide occasional feedback... and eventually reap some rewards for all your work.

Whatever your final decision, thank you!

Sad times...I would have been there with you till the end.

It is completely understandable though, and it has been painful to watch this scene wearing you down over the last few months.

I hope you stick around, but if you don't I just want to thank you for all of the effort and sacrifice you have put in and for putting up with everything that this environment has thrown at you. A lot of people here don't realise the sheer amount of effort that it takes to run a coin, and I wish you would have asked for some more help from us.

I don't blame you Rofo you've done all you can for this coin, good luck in the future man!

As for crypto it's never going to succeed whilst it's dominated by the dishonest and greedy, but unfortunately it seems to be a part of human nature for the majority to act this way where money is concerned.

It's incredibly ironic that crypto is supposedly to free us from the negative aspects of fiat, yet those aspects crypto tries to free us from are even worse in the crypto world.

I don't blame you for one second. I have watched you try to be a standup guy while the scene shit on you. Unfortunately this scene is rampart with fucking retards that cannot see past their own noses and deserve to be bilked for all their worth.

The exceptions are mostly in Noble BTW

No Longer Noble

I started NobleCoin because I was fascinated with cryptocurrency and its ideals. I know many of you have followed my vocal history. I wanted to deliver a marketplace, a charity movement and a network of merchants that allowed this technology to work as a currency. Despite the price and the PMs I consider my dream for this journey a success.

However the last 12 months have been far too much of a drain on my sanity and finances. My posted financial history was 100% accurate. I have lost much more than anyone trying to build this coin. I can't do it any longer. The cost was approximately $25,000 plus an average yearly wage I sacrificed since I was here fulltime ($75,000), as well as personal losses I do not wish to discuss.

So why was I so positive last year? I have privately been an advisor to multiple institutional investors and hedge funds looking at this technology and where it is headed over the next 5 years. It has been my job to have as much information about coins, teams, individuals and plays as possible, and I have a lot. I worked with a much more professional and genuine demographic that this technology deserves and couldn't come sooner. I think some people need a good look in the mirror before saying some of the things you do. Despite its current state, I think crypto has a very positive future you will be able to benefit from. I was extremely looking forward to this and happy to slowly build a future with crypto.

This is where my idea for NOXT came from. I wanted a business and a coin that grew on this idea and offered services as both a digital currency, an eventual share and 'investment vehicle' and a token. However I can now safely say my vision for both NOXT and NOBL have been a failure, with NOBL now down 30% to a market cap of $46K and NOXT being dumped by the very community I tried my best for a year to support. Of the 130 BTC raised during the BTC crowd fund approximately 70 BTC was dumped in the final week because I offered refunds if people changed their minds. I also began buying a lot back so that I no longer felt obligated for such a high amount. So I've raised about 60 BTC or $16,500, while watching blatant scams around me rake in millions of dollars because they promised bullshit. I did not want to admit this but I can't act like I'm being legitimate with that failure hanging over my head. The realization that BTC was crashing and we had no immediate pump planned meant a good majority of supporters dumped, spooked a lot of the market and killed momentum. A decent amount of people, while publicly complaining about BitBay and Bobsurplus, hypocritically also demanded something similar from me and NOXT or 'investment' would not happen. Also, too many NOBL holders simply enjoyed the burn, dumped and used it to damage my latest project that was an attempt to build something positive.

I now consider the first cycle of NOXT my prime and last job with crypto because I owe it to the holders. It means there are A LOT less in circulation once I burn them all and I will be delivering some final services and products to make NOXT a success. It also means the amount of money raised was much smaller, so I do not have such a high amount hanging on my head any longer and just want to spend my final months in crypto returning it through delivering the NOXT deliverables. Once the first cycle of NOXT is complete I want nothing to do with cryptocurrency.

For months there has been talk of a community takeover and how horrible a job Ive been doing and that's OK, I feel now is the right time. I have failed despite how hard I tried to build a supportive coin that tried to be different. The market cap and community sentiment supports this. My failure to get PoS incoming despite half a dozen developers at one point being in talks with is also beyond me. It should not have been this difficult. I am the problem and am prepared to hand the reigns over. I am waiting to hear from Palmdetroit but there have been multiple people saying they can and will do better. I'm truly hoping either PD or this group can deliver the PoS wallet and the community can take things further. I think it's best to hand leadership over and get a new core group going. I am happy to hand over full access to NobleCoin resources (github, social media) so that a better motivated group can take NOBL further for 2015. I would advise those most vocal about 'doing something' now step up and do something, because I am all out of steam.

I am prepared for the scam and theft and hate accusations. I've gotten them all year and its a reason I need to move on. My personal state of mind and personal life is a mess. I sacrificed far too much trying to be good in this scene and despite everything the best thing I can do is pass the reigns over to better leadership. I will not work with pump groups or scammers. The outright negativity, accusations and threats all year are not something I can handle any longer on a personal level. I think it will be important to remember that everyone has a responsibility to building a coin network.

I just want to make it clear I made absolutely nothing off anyone here related to NOBL, I lost a lot both financially and personally. I was very poignant in not promising prices or pumps, only honesty and building things. It should never have been pumped so high in the boom period of Jan so that I wouldn't have to deal with the negativity about the price during this bear cycle. I have never scammed anyone, my good intentions replacing lost and stolen coins, offering refunds, trying to support the market have just left be far too out of pocket and negative about the current state of affairs.

I'm sorry, and I hope 2015 is a better year for NOBL and crypto. Please take a round of votes or determine a group better able to work on NOBL moving forward. I just am unable to continue working as I have been. To be frank I'm completely broken, and I sarcastically look forward to the 'REKT' tweets. I just don't have the passion for crypto any longer, and I know there are people out there who can take this much further now.

I really hope that the one thing people learn coming out of crypto. that it is not the current financial system that is a mess, but rather people and money. Money is meaningless next to the more important things in life.

Regarding PoS, I am just waiting to hear back from Palmdetroit after our smooth recent upgrade to wallet, and will begin the process ASAP if he is good to go. Yes I am still working towards finalizing it.

Sounds great Smiley

With burning over 700 million nobl and essentially cutting supply by almost 1/3, and transitioning to pos, it's looking good for nobl.

Awesome were looking very good in the long term, not a bad start at all  Cheesy

I must have got lucky, my MintPal Noble withdrawal went through... no BTC though Sad

According to a partial taint analysis, their BTC wallet was emptied on the 22 oct & 8 nov, though they likely had cold storage for BTC (unlike for most alts I had a look at) which throws the taint analysis off.
