Personally I try to set us up as an example if anything else and inform/education (via the .PDF) without naming names or pointing fingers. Part of me doesn't like policing or enforcing anything. It's also because if we started acting like the Sheriff of crypto we'd literally have a war on our hands and it'd take all the energy away from anything productive.

I apologise for not being too open with the recent ANN, it's 'codenamed' Knight and we've tested a few setups. We also want to give the full list of items coming on the marketplace (it will be juicy). The delay with bullion is simply because I need as much info. and assurances as I can before dealing, reselling, advertising it with crypto. because we don't want anyone coming down on us hard.

Marketplace:

$500 in sales last 24 hours. $1,000 worth of orders a day as we suddenly have a lot of PMs/orders/interest and want to be sure we can cover it consistently medium-term. Mintpal speculation will still affect when the deal becomes more worthwhile. It will stay up @ 18% at least for the week before moving up again (won't be reduced any time soon).

not "policing" in the context on law enforcement. but more in the context of self regulation.

for example: when in doing a police call, everyone picks up every scrap of trash out on the field... for those that know as to what i'm referring to.

everyone has their part and to an extent responsibility as an individual to do their best to keep things honest and to call out corruption. that is where Honor comes in, because if you have people screaming SCAM!!! at someone or something just to discredit them, there is no Honor in that.

i agree that we can't be a law enforcement entity, and more than that we shouldn't be. to be honest we shouldn't even have to think about that. yet as a community ( not Noble but the crypto community at large) it is becoming apparent that we need to become more proactive to rid ourselves of as many bad actors as we can. otherwise we ( the crypto community) will have spend all this effort in vain, due to regulatory restrictions and the coming of the crypto police.

we have this moment to prove to the world that we can and will police ourselves. and as you said, we ( the Noble community) shouldn't even think about becoming a sudo policing force, in the context of law enforcement ( a crypto sheriffs department). but as a greater community ( the crypto community as a whole) we should not stand idly by while a few people fleece the rest of the world.

just my thoughts...

it occurs to me that we ( the global community) are standing on a precipice. we can advance our species and our global economy, or we can let it fall in to the " pit of despair" that the current models have lead us to. crypto isn't inflationary, and that is a threat to many. it can't be printed by the trillions, and it can't be pulled from the ground ( even gold, silver, and platinum are inflationary). it could be one of our best tools to advance us to become a type 1 civilization. but only if we work together to make it happen. in this digital world, information can be the greatest weapon ever.

oh and one more thing Rofo.... yes we are still working in that..... some parts are extremely complicated, but it is moving along, albiet slowly, with moving and numerous other complications.

loving this coin and mining it often. decent dev here!

yes, indeed... NOBL coin is awesome... transparent, honest, humanitarian, the coins is used in purchasing items, devs are great and most of all, community is great... i'm happy that I joined NOBL...

let us just remember, in order for "One" to stand above the rest, hardships must be earned first... once hardships are endured, then its the time we shall reap the rewards...  Smiley

It is really weird to see coins being announced in June 2014 already being traded on exchanges. To name a few: DCM, X13C, BCAT, NUMC. Where are the days that devs needed to work to get on an exchange...

It's because the exchanges themselves are most likely releasing coins after coins in order to generate commission. Also some backhanders via premine helps.

if that is true:  DCM, X13C, BCAT => Bittrex and NUMC = SharexCoin. So if ttrue, we know what lies ahead now:)

it might behoove us to in some way be proactive in regards to this.

taking an active role in attempting to " police" ourselves ( the crypto community) and keep this burgeoning economy honest and forthright, will most likely bring some attention to us, some good ( from the community as well as regulatory entities), and some bad ( the crooked, corrupt, and opportunistic financial parasites that feed on decomposing whale feces), mainly the bad attention would be coming from the corrupt exchanges and other bad actors, that despise our very existance, in part because we, as a community, give the rest of the crypto economy a benchmark. a benchmark that puts on display the utter corruption within this new economy. a benchmark that shows the world what can be accomplished in this new realm of crypto currency if we act honestly and honorably.

there are many that would like nothing more that to see us fail... i for one refuse to give them that satisfaction.

I've been thinking lately that the community as a whole (crypto not just Noble) would really benefit from some kind of "Crypto Watchdog". I've considered starting up something on twitter, but I just don't have the time to investigate all the many scams out there. Could be a Noble related account, or not if we want to steer away from people blaming it for being biased.

Guys I don't now what you talking about but maybe its an opportunity to translate this thread to more languages??
He was asking why this community is so great as I mentioned it is. And because He is struggling with the English language I replied in Dutch. If you like I can translate my respondses to English to have a better understanding what is being said.
Apologies for the different language btw.

No need to apologize this is awesome ! thank you for providing him the information he needs Smiley

I just read it and thought that maybe it is a good idea to reach non-english speakers.

Owned and operated by the same dev that brought you CharityMiningPools. Smiley

Donated 30,000 to faucet. Charity mining pool is surprisingly good too. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your donation and support.

This afternoon I discovered https://hitbtc.com, a very smooth working exchange. I send them an email for getting Noble added at the voting page. Hope to hear from them soon, so we can start voting.

I don't think NobleCoin need more exchanges right now, it is already listed on poliniex and mintpal.

More exposure can't hurt, right? And that exchange looks quite refreshing  Smiley
