It depends where you are mining Bitcoin, if you mine Bitcoin in Venezuela, where the state subsidizes electricity, mining costs are minimal.But if you are in Europe, your mining costs are around 6000$ for 1 BTC.

I think now is the best to buy bitcoin and some good altcoins that can grow over time. Even if the bull run will not start now the bitcoin will have a new bull run in my opinion and can be a good investition. Invest only money that afford to lose.
