This coin is still in the beginning stages, right? Have any DAC's started or is that a longer term project? Sorry if this is a lame question...
It's a good question, NoirShares is a new project, but we have just released NoirPool.com, the first DAC-style multipool that pays out revenues to shareholders. There are more DACs and software updates to come, keep visiting the thread for updates, or follow us on twitter @noirds !!
I'm a "jump in and ask questions later" kind of guy...which has gotten me into some trouble while trying to learn about cryptos...
Regardless, I pointed a miner at the new pool yesterday and purchased some coins/shares which I am currently showing a loss on. I intend to hold them for the long term, obviously, and was just wondering what future plans were for DAC's as I am interested to learn more. I can be patient though and will just keep watching your thread and silently berate myself for not taking this thread more seriously when I saw it pop up at its inception...

Wallet build on Linux (Mint) fails with the following error:
Was building this way (from the latest git):
Please advise.

which git are you using? we have two, one for work and one for releases.
I use https://github.com/NoirX/NRS, the one from your site.
