Yes i have the old one, i deleted everything from %appdata% folder and used the old wallet.dat to sync the blockchain but i still get nothing once blockchain is done syncing.
Can private key be retrieved manually? without using qt wallet?
I think not. use the old wallet.dat create a NoirShares.conf and place it in the folder% appdata% noir shares.
in this you copy the following

Thanks for the response, I was able to sync the blockchain but now it shows 0 balance of my coins, they're not even on the stake. I did delete the wallet.dat thinking i needed to replace it with my .dat backup. Is there a way to import it manually since its not showing up? Thanks.
Just replace the wallet.dat with your backup wallet.dat and resync/rescan.
Still nothing, cant believe i messed this up this bad.
Think a bounty is appropiate now due to being a pain in the ass. 100 NRS to whomever does solve this.
To recap, i downloaded new qt, saved a few DATs, (from old and new wallet), coins were staking when i downloaded new qt but the blockchain was stuck for 8 days so i saved another DAT, went to %appdata%/Noirshares folder and deleted everything and replaced it with my old DAT. I tried the old and new wallet.dat and have done the process about 4 times already and the coins do not appear.
Also i may have dumped privkeys on the debug window when i upgraded to new wallet, but i got an error (red letters), so there was no output so i dont think it dumped. But if it did would they go to some file location on my harddrive?

1 Please describe once and out the step by step what you did?
2 if you have created a new wallet.dat and the private key imported from the old wallet.dat?
3 are displayed transactions?
4 is your nrs wallet sync?
Dont think the dump privkey transaction went through since i received an error.
I backed up my old and new wallet but erased everything under %appdata% and replaced it with my back up DAT.
I did have the coins in the new wallet but they were staking and the blockchain was stuck on block "24xxx" for 7 or 8 days, thats when i deleted everything from %appdata% and replaced it with old original DAT to sync. Blockchain does fully sync successfully, but my balance is gone, no transactions, stake coins etc. Just a blank new wallet
Noirshares Upgrade Process
--Step 0 Dump Private Keys
--Step 1 See if blockchain redownload is needed.
Help > Debug Window > Console. In the console type "getblock ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffeeee"
If return is Block not found (code -5) there is no need to re-download the chain proceed to step 5
1a otherwise backup privatekeys type "dumpprivkey
1b repeat 1a for each receiving address
--Step 2 Shut down NoirShares, verify not still running in background
--Step 3 If Block found open application data folder for NoirShares
Windows default is %appdata%/NoirShares
Linux default is ~/.NoirShares
Mac OSx default is /Users/
--Step 4 Delete everything except wallet.dat(unless you dumpedprivkeys in step 1) and (optional)NoirShares.conf
--Step 5 Install new QT, unzip new QT, or build new Qt.
Allow to sync to block height found at http://nrs.argakiig.us
--Step 6 If keys were dumped in step 1
Help > Debug Window > Console type "importprivkey
(Note: Qt can appear to hang during import step this is normal as block-chain is being checked for address to update balance with)
(Note: If you want to disable stake generation and keep all of your balance active add "reservebalance=999999999" to your NoirShares.conf file)
Cant dump privkeys now since the original public address are not in the new wallet.
Is there a way to get my private keys from my DAT file without going through the debug console?

Not sure if this can help, but keep also in mind, that each pc user has it roaming folder, so different users also will get different wallet.dat.
I have two roaming folders and just tried with both of them, but again no results.
