i was on bittrex when it happened?! and saw it live?! just check yesterdays chart 0.00105 down to 0.00092 instantly

But this news didn't see appreciation and instead of picking up some rise price just went more down. Yeah from official tweeter they said approximately half an million so many cards already in production is one of biggest news for me. Let's wait and see what is next on road.

What's the reason of the current pump? Did any good news come out today?
Just the usual fluctuations... It's been the same movements for the past week or so.I think it is more related to most other altcoins going up. It could also have something to do with increased attention from the Singapore rollout, or the commitment to revisit something similar to the 1 per cent asset contract, but we'll see.
If it breaks out above about $8 it will be back to roughly where it was before the whole smart contract scrapping/visa joint announcement.
I'm hoping it can pop back down for a bit so I can get some at a better price!

why do you need lock-in function when your card is not ready yet?
So the announcement is that a cryptocurrency card company is making cards?
Hmmm... not sure that counts as an announcement so much as what you'd expect. Also agree, why would you lock up your coins if the card isn't ready? Unless they are letting you start your 'lockout' six month period now, so you can get the tokens back asap. I guess that would be the thinking.
They should make this available to start preparing cards for selected regions.
Once they locked on , it is possible for them to send it out earlier without much hassle
And main point is to reduce the supply of course, and apart of that, early lock in means early unlock
