Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
There are hundreds of innovative DApps being developed for ETH.

For NXT, not so much.

Where could I see the list?

Here are the big ones:

A simple bump would have the same effect, and well, would be more honest.
Just IMO.

Plus, read what I quoted, maybe you get the meaning.

See ya!

A simple bump, would have not allowed your pithy response.

Same time next decade.

WTF, why are you trolling here?

Slow Day,
why have'nt ya learned to read ya block explorer yet?

Plus they way ya marketcap has been dropping , i may not get the chance to visit later.  Wink

Small Possibility it could be this, but testing was never completed.

2) Staking weight inflation

I can exploit how NXT works so I will forge more often than I should. I could make 1M NXT forge as often as 2M should. This might allow a 51% attack with only 25%.
I can demonstrate this against others in testnet: make an account with 206K and have it forge. My 206K account with my secret sauce will forge more blocks in the same time (we should let it run for a few days to make sure there is an edge and it's not just luck). I still need to modify the client first and until I test it in practice I don't know exactly how much will the advantage be. Estimations are that I can double my weight.
This can be fixed, and I would give the code used to attack and the idea on how to fix it.

Like i said, i leave it to ya to sort out what is going on with the difficulty.

i don't have a good understanding of nxt,

but if this was a standard PoS coin, then it does look like someone is starting their staking which raises difficulty/base target , and then pausing their staking, which causes an increase in block time until another node can stake, and then repeating the process.

Just look at the block numbers and compare difficulty/base target of a few in a row to notice it.
Why they would do that , i have no idea, unless it is a way to forging more often by their node , by playing with the base target.

Anyway, i leave that to ya to sort out.

Nxt block explorer/monitor:
https://nxtportal.org/monitor/

And, looking here at a recent block:
https://nxtportal.org/blocks/6218805764090835994
Base Target is the Nxt equivalent to difficulty, mid-left on the screen.

Discussion on the slow blocks issue, and fixes:
https://nxtforum.org/nxt-improvement-proposals/fixing-the-blocktimes/

Latest (experimental) NRS release, with base target algorithm optimisation:
https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-7-0e/

Easy way to demo Nxt for yourself with no downloads, by using a random public Nxt node.
Go to:
http://www.peerexplorer.com/
Look at the Peers list, choose a Nxt node/peer with 'Open API', click on its 'Resolved IP'.
On the new page, click 'Action: Open Wallet GUI'.....
This takes you to the client log-in screen for that peer....

Login using either the account number:
NXT-QTSK-NTSG-ANEQ-6ZVQV

or the passphrase:
showmethemoney

And then play around as much as you like.
Please note that this account is totally open, so don't use it for real transactions.
(and note that 'showmethemoney' is the worst passphrase ever...... )

Nahh,
it is normal for some, so i take ya word for it on yours.

But in some other coins , it would be the sign of a problem, like either a nothing to stake issue or something raising the difficulty too high, so it takes a lot longer to find a new block.

Does Nxt even have something like a difficulty reported anywhere?

i don't see information about forging
who does it work ?

i have 2753 nxt  sins 2 weeks  forging enable   but no information about it
how long does it take for a reward ?  does i have enought nxt ?

2753 NXT are not enough for forging in short intervals, it could take a very long time until you forge a block.
This is not a fault in the POS protocol but a security feature against attacks.

Please stay reasonable: how much could you mine with bitcoin if you would invest only $17 in a mining device?

10 minutes between blocks

Is that normal for ya coin?

Will be adjusted in 1.7 https://nxtforum.org/core-development-discussion/current-1-7-changelog/

Quote
New base target adjustment algorithm
Average block times will be 60 s, with 1440 blocks per day. Block times should practically never exceed 10 min.

Somebody is playing naughty/hilarious games with NXT's difficulty, by driving it up sky-high and then removing their support, which causes a massive delay before the next block is found.  It's the equivalent of a market-based pump and dump, but at the protocol level.

Where have you pulled this from?  Shocked

El sueño de la razón produce monstruos

In most coins ya could view the block explorer to tell.
But ya Nxt is a weird bird , so difficulty is not listed along with the height & age like other coins.

10 minutes between blocks
Height   Age   Txs   Amt + Fee   Generator
581533   8 mins   2   0 + 2   NXT-HV5P-5WN7-6GHZ-DDY4P
581532   18 mins   0   0 + 0   NXT-MPF5-UXFD-R382-2BKS6
