NXT is going back to the rising channel. It's a pleasant thing to do. The price of NXT has some room to rise, but it will not be too big. As an old currency for many years, there is not a lot of breakthroughs, and the enthusiasm of investors will not be too much
People didn't pay enough attention to Nxt and Ardor before. So it was undervalued.
The tech is great. Release is soon. People took notice - and fear of missing out.
Hence: Moon.
If ARDR is used to secure the blockchain and IGNIS will be the one that gets used on transactions then what will be the new purpose of NXT tokens? Are we expecting heavy dumps after the airdrop?
Yes - heavy dumps can be expected. Of course right now the 0.5 IGNIS are priced in with the NXT.
We'll have to see what happens after that. NXT has still unique features that Ardor/Ignis will not have. And whenever other projects use the Nxt-software, then they'll have to give 10% airdrops to NXT holders.
Anyways, Jelurida promised that development will keep going, and NXT won't be dead.

I'm not so sure... Ardor is only there for securing the blockchain. Most transactions and use will happen on IGNIS. I find it very hard to predict what will turn out to be more valuable.
Either way, even with a correction NXT won't go back to 0.14 (I suppose you mean $?). I would be surprised if it's back to $0.30 before the snapshot.

Indeed it is great to see NXT finally having a increase in price and huge trading volume. NXT was too long overlooked, its a really solid blockchain with amazing features. Looking forward to 2018!

I highly doubt that. It will definitely cross 4k sats or even more till the Ignis snapshot is taken on Dec 25-28th. Then a correction might happen which might bring it down to less than 4k sats. Check out my previous messages in this forum mentioning the same and glad its happening.

What a amazing run of NXT in the last 24 hours. We increased over 68.27% and reached a trading volume of 78.818.100 Dollars sice yesterday. This is very impressive to me.
I also surprised to see NXT price now rise significant. Maybe if for long term like one year this coin price can reach $1, although it will not easy because this coin has high circulating supply
