We would take the first to commit an independent review. We could even have more than 1 review though if funding is sufficiently raised.

I hope funding is sufficiently. I really like the idea of having more than 1 independent review!

Let's wait for the 1st review results. If a flaw is found we won't need another review, right?

There is something I noticed, but didn´t cared about till now, but it is very interesting ... although it is not true (most probably). Smiley

1, There was that issue when someone created billions of Nxt out of nowhere using a bug. It was overnight. I noticed, that at that night, you wrote here that you are now going to have some sleep, but if something happens, we shouldn´t panic, you will be online the next morning and will solve the issue. You never did this before, and never did this since that night. Only when that serous bug was found.

2, You told weeks before the 3rd of January that the price will drop hard after the code is released, although everyone expectd the price to go up, as the sourcecode will be open for everyone to examine, which usually drags in more investors. What happened? The price went down from 0.0001 to 0.000035.

3, And now you mentioned several times, that if a flaw is found, it can lead to the destruction of Nxt. You mentioned i at least 4 times in the last 2 days.

Do we have to worry... ? Smiley

NXT is the future
minusbalancer client simple and easy

Did anybody tested this?

With all respect to the other clients which are much more advanced and also great, this is for Joe average and mass adoption.

It is genius in its simplicity; I just tested it and made a video about it.  this is directly usable as it is (some minor tweaks)

Some work ive been doing with an nxt client installation script, https://github.com/jobbet/nxt/. This includes a init script. Supports install and update (including version selection). This is a v0.1 so dynamic paths for binarys and such will be fixed. As well as code clean up. Feel free to comment and make up better solutions. Just PM me.

Edit: This script assumes a installation of java, unzip and such. I will make a .deb -file out of this later where dependencies will be sorted out. I am also having plans of a GTK-client for GNU/Linux.

Also, i am on IRC, #nxtalk @ irc.freenode.net

NXT is the future
Well, it's confirmed. Andreas thinks NXT is a bitcoin protocol layer. I heard him say it before, and he now says it again..

There is a Bitcoin Meetup in London coming up next week on January 21:

http://www.meetup.com/London-bitcoin-meetup/events/159181392/

We need to get a few Nxters there to promote and educate people on Nxt.

So come on, that guy from the Moore's Traditional Museum, his friend from Tower Gardens or even our buddy from the Hoebridge Golf Centre, aren't you interested? Cheesy

What's the smallest worthwhile amount to get of nxt for an investment? I've got 16 LTC, not much.

If nxt makes it big than i would say that 10000 is about what you would need inorder to retire early and live well. it would be like having 210 bitcoins. (21million/1billion)*10000=210

Interesting. I'm currently invested in a BTC mining share, LTC and WDC.

I've heard NXT is a possible worthy investment. The setup of the client was reasonable, could be easier though for mass adoption. What's the next big thing for NXT? Is anything being worked on to get it in the limelight or media attention?

Thank God I'm an atheist
Sorry for the noob question: I`ve just read the essay from anon and it says the code is still not released? I thought it was? If not, when will it be "full open source"?

http://www.nxtcrypto.org/nxt-coin/nxt-source-code-released-january-3-2014

I'm disappointed that only an old version has been open sourced.

Why don't we use GitHub or something like that?
How many developers have current source code?

Shouldn’t we give him 4000 NXT also?

Yes!
+1 Why not?

But I think social network(social media) and sites are different things. On social users communicate with other(facebook, twitter, vk, g+, blogs). So I think sites are other category than social media.
Maybe I'm wrong:)
