We have been in touch with EFF for a review since November but it seems they have a large backlog, we will keep following up.
How well do you think Nxtty will score?
Side Note:
I recently downloaded a secure messaging app. The factors that weighed the heaviest in my decision were: 1) The checks that the app received on the scorecard 2) Is the app cross-platform. I was a user looking for security because I do a lot of chatting with my girlfriend (She has an IOS). After downloading the app I remembered reading about Nxtty. I tried it, it seemed cool but the lack of availability in the IOS store ultimately made me pick Surespot.
My annoying story aside, I am here just to tell you my experience and reasoning as a potential user - I am not invested in Nxtty. I figured it might be helpful.
Basically I think there should be more focus. Either in making Nxtty more mainstream (Which I think can be done if certain things are changed. For example, the subscription section was mainly crypto related stuff - by what I can remember) or making Nxtty more security-focused (No screenshots, passcode when opening the app, picture locker, delete messages, maybe a lock icon, etc.)
