IOTA being released on Bitfinex is going to raise awareness for other DAGs such as Byteball. The Byteball bull rush is about to commence!

I have  question. It says we'll distribute 62.5 MB for each 1 BTC you link. But how much BYTEBALL is that? Maybe it's a stupid queation but I couldn't find anything about it.

1 GB = 1000 MB
So linking 1 BTC gives you 0.0625 GB ( ~50$ at current prices )

Is this rate still correct?

There are 5 Coins in Top 30 coinmarketcap.com list which are not traded on poloniex. Basic Attention Token, Waves, DigixDAO, BitConnect and Byteball. I think its time for Byteball listing on poloniex.

I have a suspicion that Poloniex doesn't add alts from Russian developers as a rule for some reason. I may be wrong though. Does anyone know if there is a Russian project listed on Polo?

I'm fairly certain Decred is a Russian team.

Cry I followed all the way to the absolutely nothing part. Yes, I did add the easy deposits badly. It's hard making friends in many cryptos because intelligent people think they're above it...

Come to the slack channel, DM me, and I will give you 9 MB.

Angry I'm having a second look at Byteball. I've done three sends to Bittrex from my Byteball wallet. The first was 33 (shows 3 at Bittrex), then sent 333 (33 arrived), then 3333 (333 showing) total 369 instead of what I expected, 3709. Transfers in-wallet (made a second) sends everything, less the 588 fee each time.
Bittrex shows 8 decimals for a GBYTE. 3 bytes is the 9th decimal, so you don't see it.
So you've sent:
0.000000033 GBYTE
0.000000333 GBYTE
0.000003333 GBYTE
0.000003699 total

Bittrex shows:
0.00000003 GBYTE
0.00000033 GBYTE
0.00000333 GBYTE
0.00000369 total

Your expected 3709 was wrong, the sum is 3699 only.
When you withdraw from Bittrex they'll take a 2000000 bytes fee. You missed out on 9 bytes, which is worth absolutely nothing.

Quite honestly the app gave no indication i was not connected to the network, GBYTES plural were sent, none arrived.  Upon investigation the bot section of the app states socket closed. This worries people, investors, noobs, like me. I'm investing family money and now it is ..... ?  It's very disconcerting, and there is no help.

I will contact you on slack about it.

As long as I'm here, I noticed it says you need a PC to restore a Byteball wallet. Is that correct? If I deleted my current wallet I couldn't restore it on the Android 5.1 phone I'm using and would need to find a laptop or desktop? Thanks, excited for everyone on GBYTE and will get more this week (9th).

To recover from seed (which is btw not the preferred option because blackbytes are not included) you need to use a full wallet.

To restore from a full backup which includes everything, you can use every wallet type. The restore function is right under the backup function in the wallet settings.

Hi Dave,

The 32 bit wallet works. What could be the reason that the 32 bit version works whereas the 64 bit version not?

At a *guess* since the NUC is low power device, it's using an Atom / celeron / pentium CPU. The newer compilers have to be told that said app might be running on them (or older 64 bit CPUs). If you don't they assume that there are CPU features that are available that are not really there. Sometimes the app gives a useful error, sometimes it does not. And sometimes it just crashes and dies.

If your NUC has an i3/5/7 then I have no idea.  Huh
