Today Ireland performed some better as Stirling on top with his good inning 63 no other batsman give him some support Josep and Cottrell for West Indies done good job with respective 4 and 3 wickets now lets check how West Indes respond as in first ODI they lost top 5 wickets very cheaply this time Ireland can do some magic or again we have one sided affair.
It was relatively a better performance but West Indies played really well against India recently and there is no way that the Irish bowlers could trouble the West Indies batsman, not sure about the pitch situation whether it will aide swing and if that is the case Ireland has some decent swing bowlers but whether they can trouble the batsman chasing a modest score of 238 is task.

Anyone watching the League 2 World Cup matches, all the matches are really unpredictable, yesterday Namibia score 324 runs and today they were all out for just 94 runs, these contrast in performance is really hard to comprehend and if anyone made a bet today looking at the performance of Namibia yesterday i am sure everyone would loose the bet. I came to this series when i was watching the sports news and thought of waging a bet today but luckily i bailed out because i missed the timing of the match.
It is hard to come to a conclusion before waging a bet if i am not able to watch the match live, i would like to wage a bet if i am able to view the match live but the risk is higher as i am not aware of these players and how they will perform and it will be like betting blind but if you bet considering the past performance then you will end up at a loss as these matches are really unpredictable, good for you that you missed the match Grin.

From what I have noticed, Ireland is struggling to replace its ageing players. Kevin O'Brien, Boyd Rankin, William Porterfield.etc are in their late 30s. However, the Irish cricket board has not been able to find suitable replacement for these players. And the bowling attack is looking very weak, after Tim Murtagh retired from international cricket.
It is a real situation with teams like Ireland where they are not able to replace the old players that performed a decade back and West Indies are able to defeat them easily and i wanted to wage a bet but the odds are really low and i was waiting for the best odds in multi bets and that too never happened and today we have the second ODI and hopefully i will be able to wage a bet.

The decision to grant test status to Ireland was taken in haste and no proper study was done on the viability of cricket in Ireland. Now their quality has fallen and other teams such as Netherlands and Scotland have surged ahead of them. Perhaps the ICC wanted to make sure that what happened to Kenya one and half decades back don't get repeated with Ireland. But giving test status and then providing no real support to them was as good as allowing them to remain as associate members.

Cricket remains one of the minor sports in Ireland. However the world cup match, in which Ireland managed to defeat England was widely covered by the media and all the major news papers carried the news in the first page. But after that, the media coverage as well as popularity of the sport declined. And the ICC's policy of concentrating on the big 3 nations didn't helped the matters. The popularity of cricket is on the decline not just in Ireland, but in almost all the countries apart from the big 3.

Gentlemen we have too much politics and Business now please talk something about cricket as we have first ODI between West Indies and Ireland right now checking score card its not interesting but still we have something to talk Ireland all out 180 in 46.1 overs and now West Indies is on 128/3 just in 22 overs with Lewis on 64 still on crease mean no resistance from Ireland in this onesided match so now give some your positive comments Good Luck. Another "international" match with hardly any interest from the fans. Ireland is a shadow of their former self (thanks to stupid policies by the ICC) and it was not surprising that they surrendered so meekly against the West Indies (Windies won with more than 16 overs to spare). Teams such as South Africa and Ireland will never be able to compete against the top sides, if they are losing their top players to Kolpak. New Zealand also lost Stokes to England, but they made it up by recruiting South Africans such as Wagner, Watling and de Grandhomme.

Well it's a long debate when it comes to matters related to religion or politics. What can we say  Lips sealed . It's gonna pile up with all different opinions and at worse can lead to clash if they disagree to extreme degree. It will stop once it is no longer the matter is out of focus (whether it be here or in other platforms)

Sports is supposed to be an uniting force for various ethnicities and religions, and that's the reason why so many people are upset when they hear about discrimination occurring in the cricket circles. When someone represents his nation in a particular sport, he is a representative of his country, and therefore his actions need to be more responsible. PCB needs to settle this dispute once and forever, by handing out exemplary punishment to those who are behind this. Else, it is going to affect their reputation in the long term.

Yeah the topic went global with discrimination, racism and now reached authoritarianism  Cheesy, i understand why certain players came out and talked about it well after retirement because that could have affected their cricket career and you cannot fight against the cricket board you are contracted not only the big boards but any smaller nations too and expect to play for them and only West Indies players have defied those odds to a certain extend.

But from ICC only fines will be imposed no bans or no strict rules to be honest. If we turn back the history of cricket lot more ugly things were happened but now cricket has been called as gentlemen game so players have to be responsible to keep that name for their game.

Other sports bodies such as FIFA are being run by former players. But ICC and the national cricket boards are mostly controlled by politicians and businessmen. BCCI is nominally under Sourav Ganguly, but the real power lies with people such as N Srinivasan, Jay Shah, Anurag Thakur and Sharad Pawar. These people always think about money first and have no incentive to make cricket a popular sport.

This has picked up on a big time and everywhere it is going about this news only. This could be a turning point in Pakistan cricket board if such things gets clarified and verified this would put them under huge pressure and ICC can also take action against the board if this has being happening to players.

Some of the sports bodies (such as FIFA and FIBA) have very tough policies against racial and religious discrimination. The ICC is having a more relaxed or lenient approach regarding the same, and therefore I should say that Pakistan is quite lucky. FIFA has handed down 1-year and 2-year bans for just racial abuse by spectators during soccer matches. And I believe that this is much more serious.

Seriously do you expect any changes in the entire concept as they follow religion rigorously and do you think that the ICC will intervene in these matter, i highly doubt that. Sure it is unfortunate to hear these things and i am sure these sort of discrimination existed, if not he will not come out now and say these things publicly just to create a controversy.

These are very serious allegations. No one would be having an issue with these players following their religion rigorously. But they can't use it to justify discriminating someone on the basis of religion. Refusing to eat in the presence of someone, just because he is from another religion is not compatible with modern human ethos. The PCB would be wrong, if they sweep this issue under the carpet. IMO, they should take strict action against the players who are responsible for this.

FIFA is proactive when it comes to spectator agitation but i have not heard about any strict action taken by the ICC, one thing they are struggling to get spectators for Test matches and i do not think they will put a ban on spectators but FIFA is global and there is no shortage of fans.

Shoaib clarified that he was talking about one or two individuals who held such discriminatory views against Kaneria and not against the entire team. Anyway, these sort of controversies are not going to do anything good for the Pakistan cricket, especially at a time when the national team is not performing well. Religion has no place in sports and those who try to mix the two should be kept out (irrespective of the positions they hold). The PCB should launch an inquiry in to these allegations, and punish the perpetrators if these claims are proven.
