Some would say its excellent recipe for good cricket and critics/ICC might scream that BIG 3 sucks.(or PIG 3  Grin).
Super series includes total 4 teams (Ind +Eng + Aus) and one more team, no one knows...
Glad to see that Sourav Ganguly is trying to make things interesting for the fans and to develop cricket and even i heard he is planning for a mini IPL, not sure about the details of that but i am sure he will things that will help youngsters and to develop their cricket and he will be a major part in the next wave of changes like he did in the past as a captain.

Yeah, Without any doubt. I was expecting few good things from Ganguly, countering ICC every year WC move was one of them. So far very happy with his work, we have to wait how this work out in the end. About Mini IPL, i guess i heard about this thingy couple of years back too.

Yippee India won yet another series. This game has given me goosebumps when Kohli got bold but Suprising Shardul Thakur's short but effective inning of 17 runs in just 6 balls made the piece of cake victory for India.  Kiss Kiss Kiss

It is funny how the fortunes of individual players can change in a matter of few minutes in international cricket. I was following the social media during the match, and Shardul Thakur was being painted as a villain when he was getting smashed all around the park. Things changed once he got Nicholas Pooran out. And he suddenly became a hero, when he and Jadeja added those crucial runs for the 7th wicket partnership. But there is a catch though. His place is not yet secure in the Indian playing XI. There is a lot of competition from the other pace bowlers.
Absolutely you got right point bro because  shardul thakur got the pooran wicket at right time and broke the degrees partnership otherwise we can see so more runs in score board and I will difficult for Indian team when it was 286-6 in 46.1 over but shardul thakur change the game with his bowling and batting.

Sourav Ganguly reveals 'Super Series' plan with England and Australia

Quote
India, England and Australia may overturn the delicately balanced global cricket calendar and play an annual limited-overs tournament among themselves - with one other nation - from 2021 onwards, according to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.

In a possible indicator as to how the new BCCI administration would like to see the game's schedule shape up in the future, Ganguly is reported to have revealed that the Indian board has been in discussion with the ECB and Cricket Australia about staging a four-nation tournament, hosted by rotation, every year. The arrangement could run against the ICC's intentions - agreed to in principle by member nations earlier this year, albeit with a host of caveats - to add an extra 50-over tournament to the ICC events cycle beginning in 2023, so there is a global event providing revenue to member nations in each year of the cycle.

"Australia, England, India and another top team will feature in the Super Series, which begins in 2021, and the first edition of the tournament will be played in India," Ganguly was quoted as saying by Kolkata-based newspapers at an event organised by a fantasy cricket app over the weekend. This was soon after he had returned from a trip the UK along with BCCI secretary Jay Shah and treasurer Arun Singh Dhumal to meet ECB officials.

That was something which surprised me too. Who would have expected India to win this one with 8 balls remaining especially after Kohli got out? The man who got out to Malinga in the IPL final this year drove India home successfully. Hats off Shardul!

The last few overs were totally unexpected. When Kohli supposed to take charge and Jadeja to assist, the Jadeja took the charge and after Kohli got out Jadeja was supposed to take charge but Shardul did it. That was totally unexpected from Shardul.
It was Shradul Takur that eased the match to be a win for the Indian Team finally after losing some starting wickets. If those boundaries and six weren't hit by Shradul, then Jadeja needs to take responsibility of winning. This could've added more pressure on Jadeja, and the winning moments might have been missed.

I saw the beginning of the match and West Indies was really going at a slow pace and i thought they would loose the match with they way they were going and when i saw that West Indies were able to score 315 runs i was really impressed as i never expected a score like that when i saw the scoreboard, i was not able to see the entire match but when India started with a century opening partnership i thought they would chase the score easily and by the looks of it they kept the momentum going even after loosing the wicket of Kohli and another series win for India.

I would like to see whether India could continue the same kind of performance abroad because even Bangladesh could defeat India in one match but they perform well when the series is on the line and if they could do the same abroad is my big question.

I missed out today's match complete due to an appointment feels like I am regretting about the missed moments of thrill at the end.Only watched Highlights and seems like we got a tail ender who can smash all over the ground which is really good for India's future journey.

From a tough position when Kohli got out, India pulled back and now overcame a run out scare and India just need 1 more runs to win the match and the series and now the scores are level and even though the opening partnership was really great but India had to play carefully in the end to take the match closer, West Indies batted really well in the last ten overs to put up a challenging total.

Edit: India has won the match when the third umpire called a no ball when the scores were tied.

I wouldn't consider myself lucky yet  Wink India only needs 50 runs in 39 balls which is very much achievable with Kohli on the crease. If WI somehow manage to take a wicket or two, I might win the bet

Edit: 34 needed of 28 balls. You'll win your bet. Grin
Edit 2: Kohli gone  Roll Eyes 30 needed of 23 balls
Kohli could not take India home but India is still in the game and i am no idea who Thakur as i have not seen him batting but they way in which he is batting it looks like he is going to take India home as India just need 7 runs from 12 balls and Jadeja is still in the crease and as expected the match was not easy for India to chase even though the openers got a good start.

Yeah I risked betting on WI when the odds was 3x+  Cheesy Looks like I'm losing my bet. But I'm happy that India is winning.
Seems like you are lucky to have placed bet on WI. I'm unlucky that I have placed for India to win.
After Kedhar Jadhav wickets, I guess the match is now 50/50 although Virat Kohli is still there. A wicket down from any of Kohli and Jadeja could have changed the match result.

as long as Kohli is in the crease i think India can win the match and the series
Only true if he get his assistant in the field  Cheesy If Jadeja got out, other wickets will only come & go I guess.

68 more runs need from 54 balls.

You never know whether the bet on West Indies will be a good one, 316 is huge total to chase
India lost their third wicket but as long as Kohli is in the crease i think India can win the match and the series, Pant is in the crease now and he will be taking on the bowler and if he clicks then it will be good for India to cover the required run rate and as long as Kohli is there at one end India will chase this one as they have Kedar Jadhav and Ravindra Jadeja to bat.

India have lost 5 wickets now with a a score of 232 on-board . Kohli is playing at 61 and India still require another 84 runs in 65 balls and if India lose another wicket quickly then WI have high chance of winning this match . Kohli is the key for India.

You never know whether the bet on West Indies will be a good one, 316 is huge total to chase and the openers gave India a good start and now KL Rahul lost his wicket and if West Indies can pick a few wickets then it can put pressure on Kohli as they still need 149 runs to win the match and the required run rate will keep on increasing and there is a slight chance for West Indies to win the match.

I definitely missed you Royse *nohomo*
The series is leveled by India winning the 2nd match. This one is a decider of the series.

Well I too miss it. It's just too busy to login and to keep me up to date.

Good for India that they did not slip the series. Hopefully they will win today. Unfortunately, I still did not get the time to go to espn website lol (imagine how useless my online status now ) :-p

I am hoping to back with my usuals in the next few days. Lately I caught up with tiresome traveling.
