It was a batting friendly pitch. So, I would consider it as normal there. South Africa isn't playing this series with their main squad. They are testing some inexperienced players and youngsters there. Where New Zealand squad was filled with the experienced players. Lungi Ngidi has come back from injury recently. Hopefully, he will do better in the Champions Trophy.

Don't worry about Aussies, they have the capability to play and perform in any country. Between they are not too far, playing bilateral series in Sri Lanka and giving usual stunning performance.

Matthew Breetzke showed a big surprise in his debut match. Matthew Breetzke has proven his ability. However, we cannot call Matthew Breetzke young. Matthew Breetzke is 26 years old. More ever new Zealand are officially qualified for tri series final while second contender will be get through Pakistan and south African last match which I believe mostly favor Pakistan. Anyway I believe south African are looking quite weak bowling vice, so they will have quite tough time to face.
If you ask me which team has more chances to reach the final and join New Zealand, it would be South Africa. They lost today's match but still they made 300+ runs. As with Pakistan, they could only make 252 runs and once again their batting performance was not all that confident. Even they are playing on home ground but still they batting is shaky.
This would probably mean that the chances for South Africa would be more. Another thing that Pakistan would be under pressure as they would not want to be eliminated from the finals in front of their home crowd.

In this exciting tri series, New Zealand seems to be a very changing team, in fact, they have been able to win two consecutive matches. Proteas and Kiwis are having some nice practice games just before the Champions Trophy and it's going to help them in a big way, at least in comparison to Aussie and Poms.
Indians are playing in Dubai so conditions could be completely different, which shouldn't matter much because they have played enough there and have good experience in losing important matches.
In short, things can't get any worse than the 2021-22 T-20 WC.

Today's in 50th game of ICC men's cricket world cup League 2 played between Namibia and Oman. From Namibia, Zane Green and JP Kotze opened their batting inning, scoring 50 runs. The Second ODI match of the tri-series started between South Africa and New Zealand. New Zealand's decision to choose to bowl first is not too good because If South Africa's batsman scores 300 plus runs, then it will be very difficult for New Zealand to win it.
