Is anyone here in this thread watching Hong Kong Tri Series OD competition?

Today, one of Play off match finished in between two squads Hong Kong squad and Hong Kong A squad. Both these squad already eliminated from this competition and final match also finished already on crease which was played yesterday Malaysia squad against Canada squad. Hong Kong squad was started this match first batting inning by winning toss. If Hong Kong squad displayed today match performance in previous matches then Hong Kong squad obviously qualify for Final match but sadly this was not happen. Hong Kong squad collected 439 scores such a huge defeating target just lost of 2 wickets. Martin Coetzee only this batter wiped out at 18 scores and other three batters achieved full century on crease. Hong Kong A squad was unable to defeat this tremendous target and all overs ended just one delivery remained and also all batters wiped out.

I actually think that Hong Kong A did pretty well in this match. I did not think they will even cross 300. But even though they were unable to get anywhere near the target, they were able to score a lot of runs. Of course, this match was one-sided. But we saw some great performances in this match. I personally would have liked to see that the Hong Kong A squad also have similar kind of performance like the Hong Kong squad and try to build partnerships. Because that could have meant them getting incredible personal score as well. But I am also happy that they were actually trying to chase the target.

India U19 vs South Africa U19

The first semi-final match of this year's U-19 World Cup will be held tomorrow. In the first semi-final of the U19 World Cup, India U19 team and South Africa U19 team are facing each other. India U19 reached the semi-finals as group champions and they faced South Africa's. South Africa U19 very well as they also won most of the matches. There will be a lot of pressure on both teams in tomorrow's match as they have already reached the semi-finals. The team that wins tomorrow will directly reach the finals and the losers will be eliminated from the tournament.

I am more surprised about the fact that Australia packed their summer with a full Windies tour. 2 tests, 3 ODI and 3 T-20, not sure when was the last time they were so generous for any lower ranking team.

Test series one -onw equal. But it is certain that Australia will defeat West Indies by 3-0 in the ODI series. Moreover, it can be said with certainty that they will defeat the West Indies in the next T20 series as well. West Indies are not the team to beat Australia at their home ground in Tests, ODIs and T20s as West Indies are relatively weak. I am forced to make such a prediction as the West Indies are currently much weaker than before.

Australia is stronger team and that's why they are winning most of the matches with West Indies. They easily won their 1st odi match again West Indies. Their bowlers were so skillful and batsman were good enough score. So is happened with 2nd ODI match. Although in 2nd odi, Australian top batsman did make good runs but their mid order batsman make up everything by applying their best effort. Sean Abbott(69) was one of them. I agree with you. Australia has been doing really well in the first two matches and in the World Cup too. So it's likely that they will keep winning against the West Indies. But we should also think about how the West Indies team could get better. They have a match coming up in Canberra, and they might be able to show off their skills and do better than before. Shamar Joseph might not be able to play because of his foot injury. By the way we can't get any conclusion at this time because West Indies can also make a comeback. We can't underestimate West Indies team.

I agree with you Pakistan batting side had a bad time in the last match which was a problem. But Shah's brother played an important role in helping Pakistan recover and win the game.
And we know that the World Cup is now going in Semifinals round. The next match between India and South Africa is coming up. India is a really good team and people think they will win easily. But we can't underestimate the South Africa team because this is the semifinal and anything can happen. So let's see what will be happened?

The difference is that West Indies sent their regular squad, while Australian side consisted mostly of bench players. For Australia, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Will Sutherland made their debut today. More than half of the players were not part of the ODI World Cup squad. And even more surprisingly, it was no.8 batsman Sean Abbott who top-scored for Australia with 69 runs. West Indies bowlers were a disappointment, apart from Gudakesh Motie. And while chasing, West Indian batting lineup was destroyed by Hazlewood, Abbott and Sutherland.

Now it's good time for them to check performance of their bench player because they already achieve good results in this season in all formats and this is going to be good time for them to have things in tough while today Sean Abbot were all around first with bat then ball and catches as well which give Australia a solid win and then man of the match award for him.

West Indies done good job while they won second test but still long way to go for them if they are looking for back into international cricket because it could be not easy while they have no quality bowlers and batsmen which can give them good performance against quality teams in all formats.

It's because of Sean Abbott 69 runs that Aussies were able to score 258 runs and played there full 50 overs. West Indies bowling was quite satisfactory but there batting was another failure. Wickets for all 5 Aussie bowlers that are used today. Sean Abbott was also most successful bowler with 3 wickets. From West Indies side Keacy Carty was highest run scorer with 40 runs. 258 is very small target and WIindies must have chased that.

The pitch was not batting friendly. So the players of both the teams are facing problems to score runs. Australia's top order players cannot bat well. Australia lost 5 important top order batsmen to collect 91 runs. If the West Indies bowlers could have controlled bowling, Australia would not have scored even 200 today. However, responsible batting by Labuschagne, SHort, Hardie and Abbott gave Australia a decent target of 259 runs. It was quite a big target considering the pitch. And obviously Australia won this match. Australia will probably win the ODI series 3-0.

Even if they win from here, I believe it won't matter as the position is going to be decided through run rate and the Bangladeshi team has not much improvement than Pakistan. This means Bangladesh would be eliminated even if they win.
The game had been a low scoring one with the target of 156 given by Pakistan easily achievable and things were looking comfortable for the Bangla team in the first 10 over of their batting. But than the wicket kept falling and none of the batsmen could remain on the crease for long. Ubaid shah having an impressive 5 wicket haul.

Bad luck for Bangladesh team. Bangladesh did a good bowling performance today to keep Pakistan within a few runs, but Bangladesh could not put up a good batting performance and they lost today with very few run. Bangladesh came down to play the target of 156 runs given by Pakistan and managed to score 155 runs by losing wickets very quickly as a result of which Bangladesh had to be defeated by Pakistan by only 5 runs. Shai Hope, the captain of the West Indies ODI team was a very good player before this series, they had a series against England, and at that time, the England team was on a tour of the West Indies, on that tour Shai Hope played very well in ODI but in this series, Shai Hope's performance is exactly opposite than his previous matches, he take ODI to test in today's match, it seems like he wanted to play Test. Maybe, it can be a cause of different pitches he was chasing a target so he should play fast, if he gave a target so it's done but he was chasing and he is the best player so he should play on any pitch.
