We might have some surprises left in this World Cup. There might be another upset loading or a surprise semi-final entry. These few matches have made this World Cup interesting.

We couldn't believe our eyes in that game as Pakistan went into bat in the second innings chasing a target of 402 runs and were defeated by 21 runs on DLS method twice due to rain. If Fakhar Zaman had not batted aggressively, Pakistan might not have won against New Zealand that day. However, if Pakistan lost on that day, all their dreams would have been crushed, but so far the equation of reaching the semi-finals is possible because if New Zealand loses with Sri Lanka and if Pakistan can beat England by a big margin, then there will only be a possibility of reaching the semi-finals.

I suppose we need to see the points table after every match and re-evaluate the situation of different teams and how they can make up for the top 4.
I am also adding the next column in the below table which shows which teams need to play with whom for the remaining of their matches.

I think that NZ has the big advantage of the run rate while Afghanistan has the advantage that they have two matches to play and with the bad form of South Africa in the last match, anything is possible between Afghanistan and South Africa match.
Pakistan looks to have the least chance to qualify for the semi finals.

I agree with you in my opinion these four teams India South Africa Australia New Zealand will play the semi finals, out of these four teams two teams have already qualified and two teams have the most chances than other teams in that case we can see New Zealand and Australia qualify for the semi finals. Pakistan must win against England and they have to look forward to the New Zealand match. With the runs that New Zealand scored against Pakistan, it can be assumed that they will definitely win against Sri Lanka. If New Zealand wins against Sri Lanka, Pakistan will have no chance of making it to the top 4. On the other hand, we can imagine that even if Afghanistan come out to win against Australia and New Zealand, they will not be able to win that match. Putting all the statistics together and considering everything I think Pakistan and Afghanistan will not qualify in the top four.

Yes, India wins and the whole Indian nation enjoyed but seriously i do not like these one sided matches where one team scores 300+ runs and the other team score a 100 runs and the winning team wins by 2/3 of the total runs. I am sure spectators on the ground and around the globe (watching on TV) won't want to see close matches and not just one sided affairs.

Most of the matches that India played were one sided. Maybe the Indian team is looking far better than all the other teams participating in this cricket World Cup.

The South Africa score was very low,this was not the real game of the team South Africa.So the team should understand their importance in every game,if the same was continue on the next of the South Africa,it will give the negative hope to their country fan.After the Kohli,Jadeja was the key bowler to the South Africa by the Rohit Sharma.With the team management the team India guess the ground was fit for batting at the first half,this also happened because of the home ground support by the team India.The rest of the nation fighting one side and team India was fighting one side.If this continue,their was huge possibility for the team India to win the World Cup title without any doubt.

As we have seen responsible batting from South African batsmen in almost every previous match, our expectations from South Africa in today's match are also high. But the South African batsmen could not survive at the crease for long against the experienced Indian bowlers. The pitch was completely spin friendly. South African spin bowler Keshab Mahraz bowled well. On the other hand, Indian spin bowler Jadeja destroyed South Africa's batting order. He picked up 5 wickets. Also Kuldeep Yadav's performance was very good. He picked up two wickets and conceded just 7 runs in 5.1 overs. India is the most deserving team to win the world championship.

No doubt they are on fire, and they are properly utilizing their home condition edge. Now they are the first team of the world cup to continue his winning streak because they won 8 out of 8 matches which is itself a big achievement because strong team like Australia and South Africa unable to continue such winning streak and that things make India unique in rest of all world cup teams. South Africa were strong team but when it come to chase they always struggle in such tournament and that why they lose, but credit goes to India bowler who get them all before 100 runs.
Now in next stage I mean in semifinals India will face Australia and I think it will be the toughest challenge for them because Australia has history to perform well in big stage and if they defeat Australia then no doubt they are winner from my view.

Don't know what happens to the teams playing with India in this World Cup? Yeah, I understand that Srilanka were a weak team but this South Africa batting lineup is one of the best among all (after India) and yet they were all out at 83 runs?

Is it the pressure of the Indian home ground or the high run chase target or what reason, it's just clueless. I always thought that South Africa may be one team which may give a tough time to India but not to be.

Seems like India will lift this cup unbeaten, unless or until we see a batting collapse of India on Semi final or finals, but again I don't see it happening as the way they are playing with responsibility is marvelous.
