The rain is back again and it looks like the match will be cut short once again, really disappointed that majority of the matches now are affected by weather and the teams are not getting enough opportunity to prepare for the upcoming World Cup. If this match continues it looks like Bangladesh will come out to bat and with a small target to chase and in their home ground, it will be an easy win for them.

The decision to field after winning the toss seems to have been correct. Bangladeshi bowlers are bowling great today. Batting of New Zealand batsmen is very slow. They managed to collect only 26 runs in 10 overs. However, New Zealand lost two important wickets. And Mustafizur Rahman took both the wickets. Also Nasum and Shakib's bowling is very controlled. The first ODI match between Bangladesh vs New Zealand was stopped for a while due to rain. The good news is that the rain has now completely stopped and the outfield is fully ready for play and players from both teams may soon take to the field. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field first against New Zealand. I think wicket spin bowling is helpful because Bangladesh have taken only two fast bowlers and all the rest are spin bowlers. The way the ball was swinging at the beginning of the match I feel this match will be a low scoring match. As the game will be played on the soil of Bangladesh, the amount of bets will be more in favor of Bangladesh. I have refrained from betting on the first match, after seeing the performance of the first match I will bet on the next two matches.

South Africa's Anrich Nortje, Sisanda Magala ruled out of ODI World Cup 2023
A news has come out that South African side two main pacer Nortje, Magala will likely to ruled out of the upcoming ODI world Cup due to injury, while thier board has decided that due to thier insufficient available for such a big event a two new young performer will likely to replace them who has done some good job in previous series against Australia, these names are Andile Phelukwayo and Lizaad Williams which has been clearly mentioned by thier official twitter today,
Look like such injuryies will runied the entire joy and entertainment of such a big event, rather than India and England most of team has single or twice main player injury. I think thier board should manage thier work load because they had played several league which really make them tired and injured.
