All of the spectators were supporting Nepal (mostly migrant workers from that country). And this is the sad reality for teams with no native players (such as the UAE). Not even the players are interested in winning the matches, because they themselves are supporters of India and Pakistan. And none of the UAE citizens are interested in these matches, because according to them the team is comprised of a bunch of Indians and Pakistanis.

The match is with Nepal team. Nowhere it is possible to see such a level of support from the audience. Even at the heavy rain thousands of audience with umbrella in hands shows how good is their support to the national team. Seeing this scenario surely the Nepal team players will get much more confidence and the spirit to win the finals. I'm sure there won't be injustice sharing the trophy.

The final Match resumes UAE set a target of 118 runs for Nepal. It is great to see the passion and talent displayed by both teams in today cricket match despite the rain interruptions. The Nepali bowling line put up an impressive performance with Sandeep Lamichhane leading the way with 4 crucial wickets for just 14 runs. Asif Khan innings of 46 runs provided some much needed stability to the UAE batting line but they were ultimately bowled out for a total of 117 runs in 31 overs, adding only 11 runs to their overnight total. Are you out of your mind? I am from India, and till now I haven't met anyone from UP/Bihar who supports Nepal. UP guys are mostly neutral on Nepal (there maybe some sympathy due to religion factor), while Biharis are very anti-Nepal due to the refusal by Nepal government to grant citizenship to the Madhesis. They blockaded the roads back in 2015, to prevent the transport of medicines during the Gorkha earthquake. Why should any of them travel to hundreds of miles to support the Nepal team?

UAE scored 109 runs in 27.3 overs and lost 9 wickets before rain come in to resuce them. Play has been called off because of rain and don't know whether there is another reserve day for final or not.
Asif Khan saved UAE from humiliation by scoring 46 runs otherwise UAE would be all out under 75 runs in the final. Nepal with this performance deserves a chance to play icc ODI world cup.
