Pakistan win by 7 wickets 2nd ODI against New Zealand. what an incredible performance of Fakhar Zaman's brilliant innings of 180 runs was the highlight of the match and he received great support from Babar Azam 65 runs and Rizwan who both scored fifty runs. Chasing down a target of 337 runs is no easy feat but Pakistan showed great determination and skill to secure a comfortable 7 wicket victory and lead the series by 2-0. This win will give them a huge boost of confidence and momentum heading into the rest of the series. Congratulations to Pakistan on a well deserved win

This is second highest run chase ever in ODI by Pakistan and credit for this historic run chase goes to Fakhar Zaman for his outstanding 188 on just 144 balls. Since the pitch is entirely made for Batsmen, bowlers of both sides were expensive today. Pakistan chased 336 runs in 49th over with 10 balls remaining. Next 3 ODIs are in Karachi so we may see some competitive matches there if pitch is for both batsmen and blowers.

What an amazing year by Fakhar Zaman so far! He hit another magnificent century today. He is the only genuine match winner in the Pakistani Team and he has once again proven why he is such an important player for the team.
Fakhar Zaman has scored 55% of the runs today to chase the big target. 3 consecutive ODI centuries from him against New Zealand. I have enjoyed his batting today, he has shown responsibilities without playing in the aggressive mode. Pakistan has strong batting lineup now. They have won the match very comfortably. Fakhar Zaman deserves all the credits as he scored 180 runs.

In the 2nd ODI match of New Zealand tour of Pakistan today
newZealand set a magnificent target of 336 runs, due to back to back hundreds of in-form boy D.mitchell they got confident which help to score such a big. Haris Rauf the nightmare newZealand again took 4 wicket and hold them to not score above 350. While from the other side pakistan opener fakhar zaman brutally smashed Thier bowling lineup and almost secured the match by scoring 150+ while baber help him little during chase but not long. Now currently Rizwan and Fakher are in the crease full confidence and the required is too short soon they will secured the second ODI of this series too

New Zealand gave a huge run target to Pakistan.  So even if Pakistan plays well, it is still a big challenge for them. Pakistan scored 136 runs in 21 overs they need 201 runs in 29 overs it is very difficult to do. Fakhar Zaman is still playing very well he has hit 13 fours and 2 sixes in 67 balls.  He scored 86 runs alone and is still playing. And good things are likely to be done by him.  Whether Pakistan can win this match is doubtful but they will also score a good score no doubt

Pakistan need 39 runs in 42 balls and this very much tells the story of the match. With only three wickets down and Fakhar Zaman and Rizwan batting on 163 and 36 runs its very easy for Pakistan to win this game. Pakistan after winning first 2 T20I started taking things easy, new Zealand took advantage of that and draw the series. Even if Pakistan win today's game then they have to keep in mind what happened in T20 series. Still 3 more ODIs to come after that.

Even though Tom Latham missed his century, he along with Daryl Mitchell took New Zealand to a good total but with the way the pitch is behaving without much assistance to the bowlers it is going to be difficult to defend as Pakistan could chase the total as they already had a good start and if New Zealand is not able to pick wickets and put pressure on Pakistan, they will be able to chase them.

Pakistan already scored 104 runs in 17 overs and they need 233 in 33 overs to win the game. To win this game New Zealand need wikcets quickly. Pakistan got a good opening start of 66 runs before Imam got out on 24 runs. Fakhar and Babr have added 41 runs together. If Babar and fakhar remain there 25th or 30th over then things will get tougher for new zealand. Still plenty of game left and game can move towards any team.

Congratulations to Fakhar Zaman on becoming Pakistan's fastest player to score 3000 runs in ODIs, that's quite an impressive result! Both Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam batted brilliantly against the New Zealand lowers. The way Pakistan batted, they'll be chased 337 very comfortably.

Tom Latham was unlucky to miss his hundred by 2 runs but his knock has made a valuable contribution to New Zealand total. 336 will really test Pakistan batting lineup capability. We saw Pakistan chasing 349 against Australia last year when they visited Pakistan last year. New Zealand have done the home work after losing first ODI, they figured out that to win an ODI batting first you must give a target of oved 300 runs. That's exactly what they have done today.

In the 2nd ODI match of New Zealand tour of Pakistan today, New Zealand batted first and set a target of 336 runs. I think the runs that New Zealand scored were not the right runs to win. But if New Zealand can do well in the bowling line, then maybe New Zealand team will win.  There will be big chances. I think the batsmen of Pakistan team will perform very well and win the match.
New Zealand managed to score much better runs in the second match than the first match of this ODI series. In the 2nd ODI match New Zealand scored 336 runs which is a good score for an ODI match but not a big hurdle for Pakistan. In this match, Pakistan is conducting a very responsible batting. They are scoring more runs than the required run rate. Pakistan have managed to score 48 runs in 6.3 overs so far. As Pakistan have not lost any wickets yet, they will have a huge advantage in this match.

Wow, the New Zealand batsmen were outstanding in the 2nd ODI against Pakistan and Posting a total of 336-5 in 50 overs is no mean feat credit must be given to Mitchell for their brilliant hundreds of 129 runs inning and Latham for 98 runs. It seems like Pakistan's decision to bowl first didn't quite pay off this time around the Kiwi batsmen were simply too good. But Harris Rouf pick up 4 wickets and Naeem Shah did well to pick up 1 wicket and limit the damage to some extent. Overall it promises to be an exciting chase for Pakistan and we can expect some fireworks from their batsmen as they try to chase down this challenging target of 237 runs in 50 overs.

Second ODI between Pakistan and Newzealand.

Pakistan after winning the toss decided to bowl first. Pakistanis are normally not a good chasers but seeing the Rawalpindi pitch conditions it's best decision to bowl first. After completion of 9 overs New Zealand are 52 for the loss of opener WILL YOUNG. New Zealand gave a target of 288 runs in first ODI which was easily chased by Pakistan. Today new zealand need to score over 300 to give there bowlers a chance to win the game.

Second ODI between Pakistan and Newzealand.
New Zealand is going well. I am looking 300+ runs in this match from New Zealand. Daryl Mitchell is again on fire. Soon he will complete his century. Pakistan got only two wickets of New Zealand team. By the way Pakistan also has good potential. And can give more surprise in this match. The match is going to be an interested match.
New Zealand, who lost to Pakistan in the first match, are looking to bounce back strongly in the second ODI. So far New Zealand have managed to collect 222 runs for two wickets in which they have batted a total of 38 overs.

Daryl Mitchell, who got a century in the last match, is still at the top of the century today. He is just six runs away from his century. Hope he will get the second century of this series very soon.

Other bowlers of Pakistan are a bit expansive but Naseem Shah is bowling very economically like in the first match. So far he has bowled 6 overs costing only 18 runs. Given the way New Zealand are scoring runs and the number of wickets they have in hand, their score will be around 340 at the end of 50 overs.
What's wrong with Pakistan balling why they can't take any wicket ?  No a single ballers is stopping Newzealand from scoring runs .
On other hand Newzealand is batting brilliantly they are close to touching 300 runs and they still have 7 overs left so this time they are definitely going to score 350 .

Nepal vs Kuwait
In this match between two teams today Kuwait has decided to declare after winning the toss. Now Nepal is batting. Nepal has scored 118 runs in 19 overs. So far 3 wickets have been lost. Nepal team batsman Kushal Bhurtel is out for 43 runs off 39 balls. Aasif Sheikh  31 off 28 balls.Bhim Sharki 1 off 4 balls.
ODI match between Nepal and Kuwait postponed due to rain. But I think Nepal would have secured the victory in the match, because Nepal is ahead of Kuwait in performance and probably the practice of cricket in Nepal started earlier. Hopefully the rain will stop and the game will resume.
Nepal is performing well in their match against Kuwait. Despite the delay caused by the rain. Nepal has managed to set a target of 282 for Kuwait in a limited 42 overs match. With a solid partnership between Rohit Paudel 94 runs and Kushal Malla 57 runs. NE has shown impressive batting skills and determination. but Kuwait is facing an uphill battle as they have already lost 3 of their top order wickets in 15 runs within the first 3.5 overs of the innings. Chasing such a huge target will be a daunting task, and it will require a herculean effort from the Kuwaiti batsmen to turn things around. KUW need 263 runs for winning this match in the remaining 37.1 Overs and qualify for the Final of the ACC Premier League.
Nepal vs Kuwait match stopped due to rain although Nepal was in really strong side to win the match they have given an excellent target 281 in 42 overs which Kuwait totally failed to chased . Kuwait played  8 overs  with 6 wickets loss and 37 runs scored which makes it  clear the point should be given to Nepal.

Look like New Zealand is all set to take revenge for the first ODI and today they are aiming to get 300+ runs and hope Pakistan will become under pressure and may not be able to chase the big total.

150 for 2 in 25 overs is all set for 300+ in 50 overs. Right?

Daryl Mitchell is playing at 58, still not out, with 8 wickets still in hand, I will bet that NZ will win this 2nd ODI and keep the series alive  Smiley

If this target was 20 more runs I don't think Pakistan would have got the win. This was the first match of the ODI series. So, Pakistan will have to be consistent. At least it feels like the batting problem of Pakistan is getting fixed.
Even if the target set by New Zealand was above 300 runs Pakistan would have chased the score and won the match because they won the match with 9 balls left and Mohammad Rizwan still left in the crease and he could chase any total as they would pace the innings accordingly. Pakistan is a strong team because of the home advantage and New Zealand needs to produce outstanding performance to win against Pakistan in their home turf.
Since the target was low for Pakistan, Pakistan tried to pick up runs at a certain pace. If New Zealand's score was 300 plus then Pakistan's batsmen would have batted at that ratio.  In the first ODI match against New Zealand, Pakistani bowlers bowled a lot of control. Whereas the Pakistani bowlers gave only seven extra runs. Naseem Shah was the most controlled and economical bowler against New Zealand as he picked up two valuable wickets for just 29 runs in 10 overs with an economy rate of just 2.9. With such controlled bowling it will be very difficult for any team to score runs as it has been in the case of New Zealand.
Newzealand again is batting pretty good and they have maintained a good runrate till now but they have to collect quick runs as dary Mitchell Is on crease and is in full form (  scored his half century).
For beating Pakistan on pitch like rawalpindi one they have to give 300+  or 350 target to confirm their victory .

Once again rain interrupted and the match have been stated as no result. For Nepal Rohit Kumar and Kushal Malla scored 94 runs and 57 runs. In bowling Karan took 5 wickets and kept Nepal at good position while the rain interrupted.

In the match between UAE and Oman, it is UAE to win by 2 runs based on DLS method. Almost every players contributed to the score. Now the final to be played tomorrow between Nepal and UAE as expected.
