South Africa put a lot of pressure on the batsmen of the Netherlands team today. All the batsmen of the Netherlands were all out. They set a target of 189 runs in 46.1 balls. South Africa team bowler Tabraiz Shamsi took 3 wickets with 25 runs in 10 overs. Sisanda Magala 8 overs. took 3 wickets with 37 runs. If South Africa can show a good performance in batting then South Africa team will have a chance to win. South Africa doing good batting 40 runs in 9.4over lost of 1 wicket. It is exciting to see South Africa and Netherlands begin what should be a intense match. . Did you forget SA is a test playing country wherein the cricket infrastructure is far much better thank NL. I am always surprised to see member of signature campaign just rattling out whatever they can in this thread just that they are able to get thier weekly quota done. If South Africa wins today's game then they are very much through to ODI worldcup and it will be West indies along with Srilanka that will play the qualifying round. Srilanka should have won today's game, it seems like they were not aware of today's game importance.

I don't expect a good performance from the Sri Lankan team in this series. Although the Sri Lankan team had several talented players, their performances were erratic. Especially after the retirement of star players like Sangakkara, Jayasuriya, and Malinga, the Sri Lanka management could not fill their void.
Even though there are several talented players, they are not able to perform well on a regular basis. However, Sri Lanka's performance against New Zealand was worse than I expected. In the first match, they managed to collect only 76 runs. The pitch was not entirely bowling friendly. Even in today's match, we have seen Sri Lanka's poor batting. They lost all the wickets in just 157 runs. Sri Lankan batsmen can't survive at the crease in front of New Zealand's pace attack.

ODI is more proper cricket then T20, still South Africa need to be careful in both the ODIs unless they want to play the qualifying round. Today Netherlands are batting first and so far they have done good, scored 43 runs in 7 overs. Vikramjit Singh just hit 2 back to back sixes to Kagiso Rabada. If Netherlands can take on South Africa main bowler then they can take control of other bowlers also.

Yes, things are interesting just because of this South Africa is already announced their full strength squad for this two matches series because they are not taking any chance specially after having defeat in hands of the Netherlands in T20i World Cup by 13 runs with this defeat they were pulled out of the semifinal race which was the biggest upset in this event so now today we have first ODI which is going to play at Benoni.
