West Indies lost all their wickets for just 108 runs. I was very surprised by West Indies' poor batting in their home match. Since this is the home match of the West Indies, they are well aware of the behavior of the pitch. Keemo Paul scored the maximum 25 runs for the team. Bangladesh can easily win the ODI series.
It was the second lowest total for West Indies team in ODI matches. Bangladesh has won the match by 9 wickets. Tamim, Shanto and Litton batted very comfortably where West Indies players were struggling to save their wickets. Bangladesh has already ensured the ODI series win. Perhaps, West Indies is going to be white washed by them. Bangladesh is doing well in ODI under the captaincy of Tamim Iqbal.
Tamim Iqbal played very well.  Tamim Iqbal played 62 balls and scored 50 runs.  Litton Das has scored 32 runs off 27 balls.

I have seen the poor performance of the Bangladesh team in T20 and Test series. No player on the team has consistently performed well. But in the ODI format, I see another Bangladesh team. Bangladesh dominated and won both the ODI matches. Their performance in today's match was remarkable. They lost just 1 wicket and reached the target. I have not seen such a good performance of the Bangladesh team for a long time.
It was a dominating victory and when Bangladesh won the first match easily, i thought it was a good win but never thought they would repeat the same performance in the second game, but they surprised me with their performance in the second game as well with dominating the West Indies batsman and then chasing the score relatively easily and they won the series which is historic.
Both the matches were almost similar in terms of scoring as well as the play from the West Indies. In recent day West Indies was performing good and now once again it have started to do what it does earlier. Because, there won't be any consistent performance. All of the sudden it gives unexpected results winning big scores and losses worse as we saw with Bangladesh. West Indies need to find some solution to have consistent performance.

I never imagined that England would have such a terrible performance in the T20 and ODI formats after a great performance in the Test series. But I thought they would lose all their wickets before 100. England lost 8 wickets for 68 runs. Most of England's players are talented. They should find out the reason for the poor performance. If they do not solve the internal problems, their performance in the upcoming matches will not improve.
Cricket is never been play in imagined it's all about luck, and we have to prepare performance like this from any team like we have in this Indian tour of England with first losing test match and then having amazing fight back in T20 and now having one of the best performance from Bumrah in ODI and historical 10 wickets win this all about cricket just because of these entertaining statics we love cricket and enjoy every movement of this game.

Even as I read Root, Stokes and Bairstow back in English squad I was expecting some tough match, but they all go down like crap and Bumrah is surely giving impression he is one of the best bowler in current era with having impressive figures in all three formats of this game which is great for any bowler.

Nothing surprising tbh.

In a near future franchise cricket is going to dominate the bilateral cricket, except PIG-3 as they still generate enough revenue for each others from such bilateral series. We have recent example that Aus and India about to go for 5 test match series in BGT soon.

LOL... this is going to be a big mistake by CSA. Franchise cricket works for the big-3 teams due to their large market. But that is not the case with smaller boards such as South Africa. By trying to imitate the IPL, they will end up with huge losses (and that is exactly what happened with their first attempt, the Msanzi Super League). My advice for them is to realize that franchise cricket is not everyone's cup of tea. Already the franchise cricket domain is oversaturated and more leagues will only result in mounting losses.

The performance of the West Indies batsmen was poor from the beginning of the innings. Most likely it is a bowling-friendly pitch. The West Indies lost their seventh wicket for 72 runs. The pitch is helping the spinners get wickets. Nasum Ahmed took 3 wickets for 19 runs in 10 overs. West Indies will probably lose all their wickets in 120 overs. Bangladesh is waiting for a very easy victory.
It was a good bowling performance from Bangladesh, particularly from Mehedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed. The spinners of Bangladesh bowled them out for just 108 runs! There is no doubt that Bangladesh will win the series. It has been a well-played format for them. Yet, what is going on with the once all-conquering almighty WI?

Those matches should be cancelled too in my opinion. Only major international tournaments and T-20 series should be the focus of all teams soon just like Ravi Shastri mentioned in the below link.

This is the best path for Cricket going forward which could audiences from around the world(Not just a couple of countries).

West Indies vs Bangladesh

The second ODI match between West Indies and Bangladesh is going to be held today. Since this is an ODI match, I think the Bangladesh team is the favourite. Though weak in T20 and Test formats, Bangladesh is strong enough in ODI format. Proof of this they gave in the first ODI match. They dominate the whole match and won. My guess is that Bangladesh will win today's match and they will ensure the series win.
I also think Bangladesh will win today's game.  Bangladesh player Shakib Al Hasan I like his game very much.  I think he will play much better today.
Like the first ODI, I expect the same thing to happen here and they will win the series. Now that Bangladesh have won the toss, they will decide to bowl first. You may be interested to know that Shakib Al Hasan has opted out of the West Indies three-match ODI series.
I am very surprised to see the performance of the West Indies. They have collected only 28 runs in 12 overs. They have averaged 2.6 runs per over. Shai Hope has scored 9 runs off 28 balls. Shamarh Brooks collected 1 run off 8 balls. I don't understand why they are batting like this. Is the pitch completely bowling-friendly? Or do West Indies players want to not lose wickets? But they already lost Kyle Mayers's wicket.

A big decision by CSA as they are forfeits Australian ODI series as they are now promoting Franchise cricket in their country which is good for long sustainability in their country's game. Surely a big setback for this format because now I am also feeling we need to wrap up this and promote T-20 for better results and entertainment.  https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/csa-ceo-pholetsi-moseki-australia-odi-forfeiture-to-secure-long-term-sustainability-of-the-game-in-south-africa-1324410

Today in second ODI of this series, electing to field first by Bangladesh must be good decision as right now after 20 overs West Indies is managing to score only 46 runs for the loss of 4 wickets which is surely perfect bowling from Bangladesh bowlers with this they can sustain them in reachable target and can secure this series after losing Test and T20 series very badly.

Spectators must be feeling that they got scammed. This was supposed to be 8 hours long match and both teams wrapped up everything with in 4 hours, fans didn't even witnessed 50 overs in this match, well at least Oval administrators saved few bucks on Lights.
Kookaburra white ball is doing tons of tricks in comparison to Duke Red ball and that too in England. Never thought that i would witness this.
Everyone should be having the same feeling. I didn't watched the match, in between checked the score and found England scoring 110 runs. Looking the scores I thought it a T20 match forgetting about the start of the ODI series. Later checked with the score and found the news on India won the first ODI. For everyone this match is a big surprise as none expected such a performance from England.
An excellent performance from India. First of all, they took all the wickets of England. There is no way only 110 runs can be competitive in an ODI match. Jasprit Bumrah took six wickets for only 19 runs. He absolutely ran through England's batting order. India had a relatively easy win. I also liked the performance of Rohit Sharma. Probably it happened because they did not have any pressure at all. I also agree that I never thought I would witness anything like this.

This pitch is helpful for pace-bowling. And the Indian bowlers have taken full advantage of this. The pace bowler has taken all of England's 10 wickets. Bumrah took 6 wickets and Shami took 3 wickets. Much of England's performance is now becoming dependent on the top order. If one of the two batsmen in the opener can't play well, then it becomes difficult for England to give a big target. England will lose the next match as usual unless the top order can play well.
