And yes, the Indian lost against South Africa was what everyone was expecting after their poor performance in the t20 world cup.

Nonetheless, it's not great news that several key English players are pulling out of the IPL. As a result of Covid, Omicron could lead to another shortage of overseas players. What if the rest of the overseas players followed this trend in the future and focused on country cricket and domestic cricket? Right now players' morale is slow and something needs to change pretty soon.

I agree with JSRAW. The real issue with the Indian team is not regarding the availability of talent. The real issue is the way this talent is being managed. The elevation of KL Rahul as the captain of the Indian team was perplexing to me. He is having a poor record as the captain, in the IPL for Punjab Kings.
