Looks like you forgot the reason why cricket was not played in Pakistan for over a decade, Sri Lankan players were attacked in 2009 when the players were approaching the stadium and the terrorist were targeting the bus they were travelling and many of the players were injured and in another firing one of the umpires were shot and these are not rumors but what really happened and this is not the first time New Zealand cancelling a tour in Pakistan, back in 2002 they packed their bags and went home when there was a bomb blast near their hotel.

A few days more and we will see whether England will tour Pakistan under these circumstances.

I am not forgetting anything but right now situation is not like in 2002 but still few peoples spreading feuds like this here all things going normal just Taliban take over in Afghanistan is hurting badly too few countries as they lost some big amount and few lost their supremacy. If England does not come, then still we will eat food and sleep well.

There is no surprises here, England will pull out of the tournament and ECB will come out with the same statement like the New Zealand cricket board that they got news about the security threat. I am not sure about the real situation why New Zealand pulled out at the last moment even when their team was literally on the ground. There is a lot of protest coming out from Pakistan regarding the pull out from many former players.

There is no surprises here, England will pull out of the tournament and ECB will come out with the same statement like the New Zealand cricket board that they got news about the security threat. I am not sure about the real situation why New Zealand pulled out at the last moment even when their team was literally on the ground. There is a lot of protest coming out from Pakistan regarding the pull out from many former players.

No idea what you are talking about, what is shown in your media should be fake, i have being to that place a few times and i have friends in that region and i have not seen or heard about these things from them. Yes i oppose what the BJP government did by limiting Internet connection whenever there is a protest. When it comes to armed forced yes there was a problem 25 plus years back and majority of the individual that were responsible were court martialed but you cannot repeat the same thing as if it happened yesterday.

The IPL connection is actually funny. I don't think that anyone in the squad that toured Pakistan was having an IPL contract. The big names, such as Jamieson and Williamson were not part of the touring squad. Obviously the NZ board will gain a lot, because the BCCI pays around 20% of the contract value as "foreigner release fee" (BCCI wants to cut down this amount, but the ICC has remained firm so far). RCB's contract with Kyle Jamieson alone accounts for a payment of $420,000 per year for the NZC. For the boards like CSA, CA, WICB, NZC and ECB, this amount represents a significant chunk of their annual budget.

Well.. you also feel that the tour was cancelled for political reasons. IPL may or may not have played a part in this decision. It's like the Kiwi players need IPL and the fat paychecks it offer, much more than the IPL needs these players. Apart from a few like Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson and Kane Williamson, there are very few New Zealand players who can't be replaced with others (and these players were not part of the NZ squad to Pakistan). So it is not the right thing to do if you blame the IPL for the pullout. Also, if that was the case then why should they wait until 5 minutes to the start of the play for the first match?

After recent New Zealand decision that they are pulling out of this series is had very bad impact even it's not happening first time because we watch many times things like this happen but without any solid proof and just on political basis it's murder of gentlemen's game by really gentle persons in cricket.

Currently, situation was very clear, and many kiwi players was also happy with this tour and security arrangements but still this happens mean now we have no manners just money and political influence is too much working around the sports globe.

And even more funny is the fact that the left-wing in my state consider the prime minister of New Zealand (Jacinda Ardern) as their favorite leader, and when I debate with them they always say that instead of Mudi, they prefer Ardern as the PM. And many of the Pakistanis were praising her, for her regular appearances in hijab, and for the fact that she had increased the immigration to New Zealand from Islamic countries. Now almost overnight, the situation seems to have turned upside down, and the same people who once showered praises on Ardern are badmouthing her.

I'm surprised to see that the entire series has been called off. Yesterday I placed a bet on Pakistan to win the match. All of the bets are voided now and the bet amount is refunded. PCB gives higher class security to the visitor nations. I still remember that how PCB had given the security to Bangladesh cricket team while they visited Pakistan in the last year. I will address it as a bad move by NZC if the series has been cancelled for political reasons. Was there really any security issue?

Even if your argument is true, why can't they tell the source of this information. All the details of this intelligence information should be shared with Pakistani security intelligence. If there is a real threat, then of course they should not play the series.
