UPDATE! Bittrex responded via direct message (below). It sounds like they are willing to add us but are asking for a "premium traded altcoin" fee.

Is this something the community is interested in?

Would you be interested in becoming a premium traded altcoin on our exchange?

We absolutely would love to be added to your exchange! What does "premium traded" mean? Thank you!

We believe trading volume will rise with Zerocoin implementation getting closer and the increased visibility Bitrrex will provide.

A BTC market will cost .8 BTC, and a BTC and LTC market will cost 1 BTC. Which plan do you want?

I was not aware there was a fee associated with a listing. Let me check with the community and get back to you soon. Thanks!

Yeah.. BITTREX is FULL SPONSORED ABOUT ANY COIN SCAMS TOO.

That's why the scams coin can enter it without think twice.

It's different from mintpal and poloniex, both of them.. really support about community. Not greedy about fees transaction.

Of course I rejected their paid/listing offer.

I am bumping this Twitter conversation because I think it is likely that Bittrex will add us soon for free (because of our steady and increasing volume on Cryptsy).

Just like I forcasted, volume has gone up and up as Zerocoin implementation nears. I think we should remain loyal to the exchanges who do not charge "premium traded altcoin" fees.

Coins like ours thrive based on true innovation not paid listings, slick marketing and vaporware.

What about poloniex? There are more quality coins there, and busoni is more interested in tech than money. Anc should be traded there.

Bittrex NEVER asks for payment for adding a coin, that's a scam account you're dealing with there, guaranteed. I've talked to the guys at bittrex (the real guys), and informed them of the upcoming zerocoin implementation, established coins are harder for to add since you have to steal the volume from cryptsy for example. You need the community to push for it and contribute to exchange volume to get it done.

Actually that conversation above was cut and paste from twitter PM with @BittrexExchange

They may not charge for normal listings but they do have "premium traded" fees. I am not sure what that means exactly (I did not ask once the community made it clear it was not interested) but perhaps they are for the altcoin ads at the top of the page or something. Bittrex does have fees for certain other things, such as ICO listings for example.

Quite happy I have been mining and buying ANC, guess it can't stay under the radar forever though.

If Gnosis can deliver (fingers crossed), I'd expect a market cap in line with XMR/DRK, maybe higher. That means we still have 400-1100% or larger increase still ahead of us.

I'll call it now, if Gnosis can truly deliver Zerocoin I think we will see a Dark style bull run like last May, minimum 20 dollars a coin. As BTC is going more mainstream too all the more reason for a truly anonymous coin to be the alternative to the establishment and retain Satoshi's vision of a people's currency.

Yes as even using a myriad the network difficulty is set from the chain with the highest difficulty.  So to pick chains with the biggest and steadiest hashrate to auxPoW with is the best solution.

Just to clarify, each myriad chain has its own difficulty that floats independent of the other chains. ie there would be no one "network difficulty" but 5 different difficulties that are each floating independent of each other. Also I don't think saying that there are 5 chains is accurate per se - there is still only 1 blockchain just five different ways of adding a block to the chain.

Yeah but what I meant is the difficulty for finding Anoncoin blocks will be set by the auxPoW chain with the relatively highest difficulty.  Which will be applied across all Anoncoin auxPoW chains in effect.  So if there's a very high auxPoW scrypt hashrate and a relatively much smaller auxPoW NeoScrypt hashrate then more blocks will be found on the 'bigger' Scrypt chain.  Or at least that's as far as I understand Myriadcoin.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. Lets say we chose to do 5 algo myriad with a network (total) block time of 1 minute.  Each algo would find a block on average every 5 minutes, and the difficulty of each algo would adjust independently to maintain this 5 minute block time. In aggregate a block would be found across all algos once every 1 minute.

Hope this helps for those trying to wrap their mind around the concept...

The most important concept to understand about Myriad mining is that each of its 5 algorithms will only find about 20% of all the Myriadcoins that will ever be created. In other words, all Myriadcoins get distributed equally among the 5 algorithms just like 5 fives sharing a pie by cutting it into 5 equal pieces. This means that no matter which algorithm you choose to mine Myriadcoins with you are only competing against the other miners using the same algorithm as you.
For example....

In our case substitute 'Myriadcoins' in the above text with zAnc as you read it....

ETA: Simcom has it right. & sure would like to see it added to bitcoinwisdom as well.
