We will lower the price within the next 24h.
After that I will delete all postings about VAT, tax, EU/US consumer laws (total different to US laws,
Inform yourself before posting)
If you want to discuss these things fell free to do in the off topic section.

short:
VAT 19%
german tax and EU consumer protection laws are far too complicated to explain it here
google and wikipedia are your friends, have fun with the german tax system Grin

What do you mean eu consumer protection laws?
Is it a cost or tax for you?

In eu all is clear,
You pay import duty, vat. When you sell it you get vat back and vat pays your customer.
Then you pay income tax from your profit.

I hope for blades below 3.6 btc.

You guys that are not in Europe(The netherlands, Germany and England) Dont know what they are talking, The tax is 21% here. plus you have to pay extra import duty. And no you cant get it back. END OF DISCUSSION.

Vat varies in eu 19% - 24%
You can get back vat and income tax if you have a company.

Import duty is minimal per blade.

Usa resellers sell below 3.2btc bulk and eu guys have to pay 5?

I am a company owner in eu.

simpic, I received my *new version* unit last thursday and set it up today. It took me six days from the day of the order for the product to arrive. The unit started to rise slowly from 5 Ghash/s to 10,9 Ghash/s. It stays steady at 10,9. I've never owned or even seen an asic, but I have done some soldering & stuff in the past (now and then). I'd still say that this new Blade is quite easy to set up even for an asic amateur. I don't know about the power consumption, as my PC (which acts as the stratum server) is connected to my wattage meter (not the asic's psu), and at least right now, I'm not that interested in swapping that vice versa. I'd think that compact design would make this miner more efficient than the older one.

EDIT: fixed Thash to Ghash.
The only difference is that the old blades can run at 10.9GH/s but are also capable of overclocking to around 13GH/s, and obviously the size Smiley

With that said the power consumption for old and new blades at the same speed (i.e. not overclocked) should be roughly the same.
Thank you so much for your replies.

Monopoly is bad...
What taxes you pay? You can have tax refund also. Ssboom is selling bulk 3.3 btc, you get for 2.8 or less shipping free and minimal customs fee.
Sipping a blade cost is minimal about 0.10 btc max uninsured.
Please cut your huge margin a bit, get 0.3 per blade dont be greedy. You will get more sales and everyone will be happy.
Now prices are ridiculous.
Who is Ssboom? Where to get Blades at cheaper price?

Not sure why your charging 4.895 for a Blade when I have can one expressed from the US for 3.6btc + .6 for shipping.
+ VAT
4.895-20% = 3.916
So he is charging a minimum of ~.6 for shipping and profit. I assume he pays around the same bulk for blades as SSB/canary
Nice to know he got mad at me posting the REAL prices, and deleted my post. Then told me to get my own thread, which if he noticed is sold out.
You cant suppress the truth.

And for your information I have a proper export license for the EU, and build in VAT to all my purchases going to the EU.

"This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic. "
thats what I told you, pls sell your stuff not here...

but ok lets calc 3.6 + 0.6 = 4.2 +~20% VAT = 5.04 , you can't include EU VAT into your price.
our new price is 4.9 + 0.19 shipping with full insurance = 5.09

And its not only VAT, we have to pay a lot of taxes, as we act as a registered company.
There are also EU consumer protection laws we have to consider in our price...

I am also a registered business, and have to pay taxes.
3.6 is the price I sell it for, but They cost you and I less than 3.3 in the bulk we buy.
So more like 3.3 +.6 + vat. Not sure under what grounds "you can't include EU VAT into your price." as I am exporting goods into the EU and therefore subject to VAT.
What EU consumer protection laws would cause you to charge more? Theres consumer protection laws in the US and you dont see SSB or canary charging extra.

And for the 2nd time, I am not selling anything. Not soliciting not selling.

Received Order #875.

Everything is ok, but the postage time on DHL's part was retarded.

yxt books the shipping on Monday, it gets delivered to DHL on Tuesday, then it sits in germany until Thursday, Friday its in the UK and I pick it up today.

Nothing wrong on yxt's side, but DHL need to pull their finger out their arse.
