An “Unconfirmed” transaction persists from my attempt to transfer bitcoins from my Bitcoin.org wallet to SR. I've tried all the ideas I have. The recipient, SR, said “...not sure why but your wallet is not sending that transaction to the network, so it has yet to be recorded on the blockchain, and therefore yet to be confirmed.”, but they couldn't help.

Question: How can I Reset the transaction? I even thought of establishing a wallet at Multibit, because they support an easy to use Reset, but haven't been able to effect a valid Export/Import to establish a wallet there.

Below is the report of the transaction as displayed in the Bitcoin.org wallet:

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 3/5/2013 12:48
To: Silk Road 1wfWY8vo4iUW3iK894fM45rcEkVf8pJtC
Debit: -0.0595 BTC
Net amount: -0.0795 BTC
Transaction ID: 694ed127aa7b7107b3e8bac25a1dc12d2aae9759da666b04bf109f28f2abb4a8

PS: I've hacked at this as best I can, but whatever knowledge/skills I have aren't up to this. I'm an old timer—entered the computing community in 1961, and am heartened by Tor, Bitcoins and the new openness and stunning possibilities on the horizon.

Thanks,   JAY

What I am asking is, can I make 4x $500 deposits Smiley?

I would suggest depositing the limit, then trying again the next day or week to deposit the limit again.

The BitInstant FAQ is not clear to me in this area and is probably due for a rewrite.

I will ask more about this when in the office tomorrow and suggest a rewrite of some of the FAQ.

Hope that helps!

I am about to switch from mining litecoins with my 2500k to a 7870 using either cgminer or reaper and I was just curious if you guys think a 500w psu would be able to power a 7870 and a core 2 duo machine with nothing else plugged in? Because if so, I'll just keep my 2500k mining on a seperate machine. and put the new card im getting into the old machine I have.

Or I could always swap my 1kw psu into the gpu miner and put the 500w one onto the 2500k machine

*****PLEASE HELP*****

I'm trying to buy $1970 worth of coin, but every time I put in a value (even $999) it says "there is a 999.0 limit on cash transactions."

Please help =( I want my coins!

I'm not sure what your asking here.  Are you having trouble purchasing that limit?  Most exchanges have limits unless your account is verified in some manner.  Are you asking when that limit resets?

Any news yet Ursay?  Coins have went up about 30% since I've started my transaction.  Kinda losing money here.   Grin

Nothing yet.  I've been mostly working on location as the folks at BitInstant integrate me into their structure.  If you don't have an answer today, I'll be in the office tomorrow to find out more details myself.  Grin

We've already seen some pullback in the price from this morning.  MTGOX appears to be having some website issues today.  This is in no way an excuse.  Just pointing out the positive things here.  Smiley

We're now approaching 48 hrs since I placed my bitcoin order and since you recieved my funds from Dwolla.  According to "Live Support" on the BitInstant site, BitInstant's "temporarily low reserves on our btc/gox purchasing exchange" were the issue.  But you have had ample time to wire the money you received from me and -- apparently -- many others who were also left hanging, so there is no excuse for not concluding our transactions.  That no longer washes, and I also see that Ursay, a recent hire (his words) on this forum and the folks from Live Agent are left to face the angry mob.  Isn't it time that someone of authority at BitInstant gets in front of this problem before it turns into a public relations disaster?  They should also stop accepting new bitcoin orders until existing orders have been filled.

Please have someone with authority and the ability to follow through let us know when we will get our Satoshis, at what exchange rate (my order was placed at $105, currently at $108), and that the transaction fee will be waived.

I'm having issues transferring to Mt. Gox from Dwolla... I went thru the Dwolla verification steps and everything seemed fine. It took the money from my Dwolla account then it spit out an error and said to contact tech support. I've emailed 3 times now and haven't gotten any answers...

My Order ID is: eb570214-ee78-4a58-ad70-3fb037252c2b

Help please!!

Can you provide me with that error and any other details?  Thanks!  Smiley
