why doesn't AMT or Nvidia mass produce Bitcoin MIners. and blow them all out of the water. I wouldn't mind buying a Miner at my LOcal Frys Grin

AMT is already supposedly building ASICs.  You're in their thread.  Do you mean AMD maybe?

sorry ya i mean AMD

We should also AXE referring to AMT as legitimate business with several workers. I'm sure Josh would love us to believe that there are multiple owners and workers, but I don't buy it. All indicators point to a single man operation, lead by Joshua Zipkin.

Yes, Joshua Zipkin: The same guy who will be wearing an orange jumpsuit in prison when he gets busted for fraud and stealing peoples' money.

I gotta say phin I had my issues with how you went at things at first. But I went through some of your other posts in other threads that exposed some stuff. It might be the nuclear method but it gets results.

To be honest, it truly is a fault of mine, with never intending to hurt the innocent, and apologizing if such happens. My research comes for the heart and rarely for the sake of a vendetta, but AMT comes pretty close in that regard... because Josh called me an idiot.  Roll Eyes

Some of you "Pro-AMT" people might say "Well what does his college degree, or his previous start-ups have to do with AMT???". Well, it's simple really: his prior actions prove intent and trustworthiness.

Joshua Zipkin has a plethora of bogus start-ups, manufacturers fake social media reviews, and lies about his education: is this someone you want to buy something from, or let manage your money? Would you trust someone that lies their ass off about where they went to college? I wouldn't.

This guy is your run of the mill fraudster.

He thinks he can 'get rich quick' by creating a fantasy story about producing miners, when in reality he's just slapping an AMT sticker on someone else's hard work and calling it his own. These fucking clowns obviously have ZERO technical skill, or at least enough to manufacturer bleeding edge technology. I don't even trust them to RESELL hardware from another source, because I honestly believe they would fuck that up somehow.

I'm glad to see AMT support is now at an all-time LOW; it gets hard to make excuses for these fuckers after all of this time and lack of updates on what's going on. Joshua Zipkin, you are a piece of shit and a detriment to this community. You take advantage of people and are the worst kind of scum on the planet. You're just a greedy thief and liar, they should lock your ass up and throw away the key.

Fair point. Still alot of info gathered here as a result of your efforts. For those going the legal route well it's useful. Well some of it anyway from a legal standpoint. Most of it is informational. AMT should not have been outright replying to anyone but customers really. That energy could have been used to:

-Put out the professionally made video they said they had
-Show more of the miners in action (Video)
-Issue refunds to customers who requested them
-Deliver products according to a posted schedule on their own "Official" forum

This is not trolling. These are facts that have yet to be substantiated with any sort proof to the contrary. Anyone calling them out is not really a troll. Once they start deliveries and people start posting about said deliveries. Fading optimism due to many words not being followed by action. This is the last week of the month of March

Interestingly I just noticed on the pool I mine in a 1.264GHs mining. Single worker. Would be interesting if it actually was an AMT 1.2 miner. But we don't know as it could be any number of devices.

All said the trend I am reading which represents a considerable amount of the mining community or at least representative of it is that any company that cant effectively communicate with it's customers is doomed to failure unless they turn that around. Even the Chinese companies try even if the English isn't all there (presumably using google translate). At least they are making the attempt. This is what will differentiate succesful companies from the ones who will fail.

What we've got here.... is failure to communicate

In all honesty I had the same problem with one of my block eruptors. Actually my mistake 2 of them. I fixed it myself tho. But yea it came to me in shitty shape. All messed up with screws loose inside. These were the cube block erupters. They were nice in the box and secured. So at assembly tho they came in relative pieces. Luckily nothing permanently damaged and they work great (my original proof of concept setup).

But the QA process with companies will get better over time. Just sucks to have to endure that now.

No big deal. Rebrands are a common thing in the tech world. Just so long as they deliver. whitelabeling is a common practice. Quite a few tablets on the market share the same firmwares and could be flashed to the same firmwares of another chipset. Meaning one nvidia tegra3 tablet (using a reference design) could be flashed to be another tablet (using the same reference design) slatedroid is a great example of this. Anyway that they just take bitmine and repackage is not an issue by itself. I almost half expect that now myself. The problem is delivery and quality of those products. Also support. If we are dealing with this lack of communication now....what do we do if we actually needed support? or to RMA?

Jim was actually very helpful when i got my rig.  He was quick to help me get it up and running, but i was on my own with figuring out why the rig only had 1 board hashing at a time.  It would have been nice if the rig came with all the cables hooked up correctly, and i didnt have to dick with it to make it work as it should have.   The QA process at AMT is non-existent.  Even the slightest bit of testing before the rig was shipped would have shown 1 board not hashing, and the other having a non-hashing chip.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... not gonna happen.

Everyone,
I've figured this out. AMT is just rebranding bitmine units. If you look at AMT's pictures and Bitmine's YouTube videos, all of the locations seem to match up. Bitmine has also stopped selling their A1 units, maybe to actually help fulfill AMT orders. Office and manufacturing facilities look the same in the pictures and videos. Go look for yourselves! Maybe Josh, Jim, Alyssa are just US Bitmine employees or whatever so that they can be an offical American business. This is why no one needs to be in the office and they have a remote manufacturing facility and don't want people to come help all of a sudden. Any thoughts?

They also slapped together a bunch of parts they got from Technobit and called it an 80GH mining rig.  Once it was assembled correctly, in my garage, then it became an 80GH mining rig.  Nothing proprietary from AMT in it, except the AMT sticker on the front on the case.

The case now acts as a mounting pedestal for my 80GH rig.  lol.  I'd leave the boards sitting on just the metal mounting rack, but it vibrates and makes a bunch of noise on my wooden workbench.  Case provides stability and cuts down the vibration noise from the fans.

One of the few that have been proven to exist, in all it's glory.

Behold, the AMT 80GH rig!!

You guys have done an excellent job of confusing new customers, thank you. But as we've said before, its best to be at the top of this section either way. So we appreciate your support in sending confused clients to our site and allowing us to convert them into sales. All we have to say is "read three pages of that thread and tell me that it doesn't seem a bit fishy".

We've been returning phone calls and emails, but the majority of them are asking about an updates for their order, so we'll be posting updates in the news section and we'll even start sending out emails too.

We treat our clients as investors, and with respect. We don't respect this thread despite the fact that our clients choose to come here and read this bs,. As we've said before the crap that is allowed to take place here is so bad that we don't even come around to look at it.

News flash you STUPID FUCK. This thread is full of YOUR customers.

I would say that Josh Zipkin purposely let his fuckin' thread go to pot so that he could back here later, read today, and claim such.

Take a look at the GAW Miners thread and see how quickly I was shut down and laid any concerns I had with them to rest. AMT had every motherfuckin' opportunity to have this thread go in the same direction with or without issues concerning their product line, but opted for chaos.

FUCK YOU JOSHUA ZIPKIN!

I gotta say phin I had my issues with how you went at things at first. But I went through some of your other posts in other threads that exposed some stuff. It might be the nuclear method but it gets results.

Sometimes we just need the outspoken "asshole" (I actually mean that with respect oddly) to say what noone else really is gonna say.
I have my tendency to be more diplomatic and avoid the conflict. And that gets me results. But sometimes the nuke option is necessary to. Right now I just want to know the truth whatever that may be.
While I am inclined to believe they are a legit company, my belief is not knowledge and I will not let that rule my objectivity in getting the real truth of the matter.

But if AMT wants this discussion and "trolling" shut down, they just need to produce a hell of alot more than just words at this point. Produce products and if you want a real marketing splash and to shut people down, send those people with waiting orders their products that are on here. You can bet your ass they will be posting pics and youtube vids and whatever. I know I will do that if I get my miner I will do a whole unboxing like they do on engadget. I will go through and set it up. Do a whole howto on setting it up. I might even do a couple of follow up reviews to show how to get them into a datacenter and manage them. But to start just send people miners (aka proof) and that will shut everyone here who is hating up.

There are those of us who offered to help (I threw my hat in the ring privately but got no reply). If this is still the case I would do it. I don't NEED the work. I just want to be able to catch you guys up on your production runs. Maybe be part of the bitcoin hardware community in that way as well. I don't see why this cant be turned around. But right now we are reading words and still see nothing based on those words. As a business its crucial. Your brand depends on that reputation to deliver.

I am sure you are fully aware of that. Hopefully this time there will be actual delivery. Hopefully we see some of the people on here actually getting their hardware based on this latest update. I am hopeful but doesn't mean ignorant of whats going on. We all have our issues right now and perfectly legit reasons to be angry on the delays based on MULTIPLE failed delivery dates.

Yeah, except AMT doesn't have anything to show for what they say. If they had photos, videos or proof that the miners existed and were shipping out - they would post it immediately to defuse all of this FUD.

Joshua Zipkin has a masters degree in FRAUD.

I'm calling BULLSHIT on what AMT has posted.

If they've shipped 146 miners, where is a single photo or video of one of these miners hashing?

AMT_Miners: You want to call us trolls, but you dug yourself into this hole for being completely unprofessional. No solid updates, answered emails, or phone calls. You guys are so full of shit. Don't blame the users here for your shitty business ethics and lack of professionalism.

Why don't you let us know who/what orders have been fulfilled? Perhaps we can get some information from those people, since you (AMT) are hell bent on not sharing any information about the miners. The only thing AMT ever posts are excuses with not a drop of usable information.

@AMT

The people who have contacted them requesting refunds or a status update have not gotten them. That's a trend in this thread.....hardly call that respect......telling people they will have a tracking number or a refund and then not issuing it......not respect.......Again. Talk is cheap. We are asking for a bit more transparency as a community considering that companies like BFL and a few others out there have severely burned customers. If you truly mean those words then prove them. So far all we have seen as community is published schedules and lots of talk of delivery but nothing but a few token photos to prove it (which really proves nothing). By now that would have been easy to show and someone in the 146 people who have gotten miners (presuming they didn't just ship out today) would have spoken up on your behalf. Remember this is YOUR official forum here. You created this. And its easy to manage the people who are angry here with proof. We don't see these kinds of discussions on technobit or bitfury discussions. Because they actually have products on hand. They sell them and people have them. They actually support them. Yea the occasionally troll shows up in there and gets booted. BUT because the majority of the customers that are on there know from EXPERIENCE that they can trust the brand, they will go tooth and nail to defend them. And so far its been a consistent pattern.

Communicate and deliver on promises. CONSISTENTLY.
Deliver and provide superior customer service CONSISTENTLY.

The feedback is pretty clear. This is all that needs to happen. If you have delivered great!! I think the community will start to see the devices. Telling us you delivered and there is no one here in those order groups (who honestly if you sent orders 500-1100 and thre are a few people on here within that) that have not gotten so much as a tracking number? Makes it hard to believe at this point.

There is a consistent pattern though. Bitmine is dealing with similar anger in their own forums as well. Their lack of communication and lack of updates is infuriating. People who have invested thousands of dollars per person with vendors who have gone silent is just a bad mix.

I suspect AMT is using this kind of a message to claim to the authorities that it's on the up and up.

They are complete idiots if they think a forum post with no tracking numbers or hard evidence is going prove anything and actually hold up in court.

I suspect they are trying to delay once again, and possibly hold people off from filing complaints and taking action. I suggest people continue filing FTC complaints and pursuing legal action. Until we get some actual evidence of the miners going out to customers, DO NOT RELENT! AMT's word means nothing at this point.

AMT_Miners: You want to get out of the hole you've dug yourself into? You can start by telling us this:

Where is Clennel's refund?

It's a simple question. He would like to know, along with everyone else watching this thread.

The only thing people here know is that you (Joshua Zipkin) emailed Clennel saying you'd "ship him a miner as punishment". What's your side of the story?

Dear Penn State,

I wish to now to thank you professers for providing me mine 6 years learning esperiance. We all know difficulty arises as the classes get harder, but I invested me money into as well, just as the other students as well did, all be it some only four 4 years.

THanks to my degree and a good GPA (still have not finger what that means yet, but my number is good, me thinks), I am able to be CEO of a lot of myriad of companys, with the bestest one being AMT in Havertown Haverford, PA (we'are a mobile company).

I would like to now make a donation to Penn State but you aren't excepting bit coins yet. But when you alll do, I will donate alot of money.
