Nice!
Will this come for other exchanges too? For example Bitfinex? :-)

Also, the two "Sell/Buy ratio" both say "24h". I guess one has a different timeframe. I like that indicator!

Oops Smiley Chart is was wrong of course, I intended to insert a bitfinex btcusd chart, messed up a bit clearly lol . All other data on the page is bitfinex, I will insert the correct chart. Top ratio chart displays last hour, label is wrong was wrong. Maybe I was a bit too fast in sharing the link to the new orderbook page. I thougt Ialready found most bugs, but clearly i still missed a few Cheesy

In order to further increase the quality of your trading experience we decided the following

Fees on the LTC/USD, LTC/BTC and DRK/BTC DRK/USD pairs will be taken to 0.1% for market takers and to 0% for market makers. Adding liquidity to our orderbook will then originate trades free of charge. This plan will be kept in place until further notice

We hope you will appreciate this and we wish you a great trading day

Regards,
The Bitfinex Team

Nice, hope we'll see some more depth in the LTC an DRK order books

I'm adding them to http://www.bfxdata.com now, not a girl, but I'll add it anyway Wink

Thank you. However, I find the lack of candlestick versions of the DRKUSD and DRKBTC charts disturbing.

Server story is that "The requested URL /bitfinexOrderbookCandlesDRKUSD.php was not found on this server."

(just a guess based on /bitfinexOrderbookCandlesBTCUSD.php)

Hadn't had the time to add it yet Sad I will, but as bfxdata.com is a "hobby" I do in my spare time, I also have some other things to do beside changing my site.

It's okay, we still love you.

how does the notification feature for swaps work?
Do I get an e-mail notification if swap XYZ is repaid or do I just get a popup in the right corner of my screen (like in the exchange tab when an order is executed successfully)

Thank you  Smiley
You'll receive an e-mail

EDIT: lol ^ you beat me to it Smiley

You'll receive an email. Useful way to keep track of spare funds that need re-offering.

Does break in one odd case though - normally if you have the "notify when taken" option turned on for a swap offer, it'll automatically also turn on the notification for when it's repaid, but it doesn't do that if the swap is taken as "unused" at first, and then converted into a position later. In that case it'll have notifications turned off unless you turn them back on, and then helpfully turn them off again at the point when it converts to a 'full' position, even if you turned it on previously.

But most of the time it's really helpful...

Active swaps is at $22 million (up from $20 million yesterday).  During the last bubble the swaps seemed to expand at a rate sufficient to keep the swap rate down to 0.2% (as some users respond fairly quickly to high swap rates by wiring in money).  On the other hand when demand falls, I haven't seen the money wired out as quickly.

No, During the last bubble, from mid November to mid January  FRR was from 0.3% to 0.7%
Check the charts!

November and December rate were over 1% per day.

They used the old annual rate back then, so the rate were over 365% +.

Money comes in during the high rates much faster than it gets wired out during the low rates.  When BTC stabilizes again I definitely see rates fall well below the 0.1% they were sitting around.

No, it is not suppose to happen like that.
What lender sets is the minimum days which he/she is willing to offer swaps for. This is how the system is normally registering such swaps, once they are taken. The same goes for trader. The only difference between trader and lender offers is that trader will get swaps matching his minimum days AND the ones that are longer (because longer duration swap offers are inclusive from trader's point of view).
If this part (days matching) does not work, there will be no point operating with days at all.

This is not the case.
The lender sets the maximum time. After that time, the loan is closed automatically.
At *any* time, the taker can close the loan. He pays for every hour, with one hour minimum.

The taker may enter "10k USD for 2 days", and will scoop up all offers there are, until he has 10k USD lent, or the offers are too expensive. If there was a 7 day offer, he takes it with a 2 day runtime. That loan will be closed after 2 days, no matter what.

Which gives me an idea - how about taking the loan for 7 days, in this example, nevertheless? The taker is free to close it after 2 days anyway!

I see 2 days swaps are going out instead of the number of days offered. This is for sure system's mistake/glitch as such swaps were entered via auto-lending feature. Could the team check this please.

That appears to be what happens now if a swap offered for, say, 30 days is matched against a demand for 2 days. Which I suppose makes sense - it was always set as a maximum allowed time, and the trader can cancel whenever they want... so why not let them define that up front. I prefer to know their intention than have it say "30 days" if they're only ever going to keep it for 2.

Either way, it's out of control of the provider, and only the taker's decision.

Which reminds me of the old feature-request to "renew this loan another x days"! :-)

IS there a history page for trades on DRK?
Unfortunately not, either we find the time to put up trades history for all pairs or third parties pick up on this.

Could you please contact those girls over at SierraChart and BitcoinWisdom and have them add DRK? If you do not want to then I can post in the SierraChart forum (paying subscriber) and e-mail bitcoinwisdom.

There are many arguments for and against DRK here but at the end of the day.. if I can trade it and make a profit then it's all good.

I'm adding them to http://www.bfxdata.com now, not a girl, but I'll add it anyway Wink

Great, thank you! :-)
