It makes sense honestly if there's some migration flight from ETH being overloaded due to the DeFi fall out. Of course, OMG has to be seen as the safe haven which could easily or just as easily not happen.

Lots of hodlers hold because it will eventually hit 25$ So I believe there’s gonna be a big push come out of it however I’m no financial advisor!

from morning until now there have been a lot of traders discuss about OMG a lot. They continually appreciate OMG and think that in the future it will replace the top 2 position of Ethereum. For me it also makes sense, lately Ethereum's network is always congested and users have to transact with very high fees for money to be transferred quickly. If this is the case often, ETH will probably have to lose a lot of their users as OMG is doing too well.

That current rally showing we have been entered into 2nd phase and so many people are already out because they failed to judge the potential of this token. That is clear now crypto is only for strong hands who have great patience and can hold for long time and not traders who always try to take profit on every single rise. OMG still big potential to show more interesting performance in coming days.

Does anyone know if OMG ever managed to get their POS or masternode thing off the ground they proposed a couple years ago or the status of that situation?

If we analyze OMG tokens there is nothing special about OMG tokens, like other tokens the increase in OMG prices is only around 1%-2%.
And that can be said to be disappointing for OMG token performance, just imagine OMG's all time high at $ 28. And now OMG tokens are
only capable priced at $ 1.59, really disappointing. So in my opinion if you want to invest in OMG tokens now the right time, because of
the price already cheap. But it might only be able to feel the profit within 3-5 years. So if you don't have patience, then you shouldn't
investing in OMG tokens.
