noobs or who do just recently jumped in and get hooked into addiction.If you do make yourself greedy and believe that making income or easy money with gambling then thats the biggest mistake you would ever make.
Due to accessibility and vacant time then chances or odds on getting engagement with gambling is high.

It is very unfortunate, because when our lives stagnate at least there are still many other activities that can still be profitable. Like if you have the skills to make souvenirs and / or other handmade items like food etc, then I believe gambling is not the last way for him to fill his spare time and make a profit. Gambling is not the right way to make a profit and therefore, it doesn't matter if they are just gambling to fill their spare time and fun but still, they should still be aware of the time to stop because after all when there is a pandemic then financial problems will arise.

It is also a matter of knowledge, many people falsely believe that they can make money when they gamble and while this is possible to do in a few sessions the longer you gamble the bigger the chances your results will become more and more negative as the house edge begins to take effect, if those people recognized from the very beginning that it is impossible to win long term when they gamble then the chances they could become addicted to gambling will become way lower.

Going back on topic, I think online gambling was good for one thing at least: avoiding close contacts with others, that prevented the disease from spreading but that is very much it.

Without a doubt social isolation was necessary, not so much for the kids as it seems they are the group with the less risk of suffering long term effects due to the pandemic, however kids are not as responsible as adults so we could not trust they will follow every safety measure and they could eventually infect their parents or their grandparents, however this came at a huge costs that it is going to be theirs to pay, especially those that were just starting school as it is going to be difficult to learn how to read or make some basic math calculations with the same ability as those that received formal instruction at school.

I can not imagine if they become addicted to gambling in this pandemic because we are now at a difficult time, making us keep surviving and still making money to buy our daily needs.
If they do not realize that, they will not survive and their family can become hunger and their lives can be in danger.

Yeah, I agree. It was good for escape, for distraction from having to think about covid pandemic and lockdown.
It was a good way to blow off steam, and a good way to make a quick buck, but maybe for some it created more problems than solutions. Perhaps now we have to try to find the balance between that and reality.

Is he playing just to kill the time or really want to burn money on this game?

For those who want to help the people around them who you see to becoming an addict, do not ever direct it to them, talk to them sincerely and with patience and empathy. And let them decide for themselves if they're addict or not. Do not force them to believe. Time heals as we all say.

You do still think about social skills? Do you really mind off that first than into your own health? It wont matter if it would be affected as long im healthy and safe then that what surely counts but well
not all people would really be having the same mentality when it comes to this which it isnt surprising that there are several reasoning which do really opposes to each other.
Vaccine is all we need or a total cure with this current virus we are facing on but for sure it would still take a lot of time and im not really that confident on taking some shot
for now.
