The managers could be added as well in case of people searching to launch their service might find it easy to select one from the list instead of going through the whole forum or service sections.

It seems that 'Beyond Internet' in the Technical section isn't available to users such as me. Which sub-forum is it in?

Was probably removed for some reason.
Well it isn't in the mod log, so must've happened quite some time ago. Here's a cached view in case someone is interested.
Edit: Having a look at the cached thread, seems the thread was mainly spam

I guess the other thread by Jappa was deleted as well. I always wondered what that was about, but some of the links were actually helpful. Anyway, removed that as well.

He was just huge on project.  I from first time he mentioned it in hardware said he did not stand much of a chance.  He thought he was going to make some new solar power panal.... for cheap... that no one else had did.  He just would link to ton's of white papers on technology.  He had 3-4 posts of it on forums.

He promised a coin in a week, and coin would help pay for his new solar..... guess what coin never came.  I wished him luck... he said he didnt need it that he would be successful.  I hate being wrong sometimes but to think you will make a altcoin and create a solar farm from coin..... this is why so many coins are pump/dump.  Luckily this coin never even made it to pump/dump.  The coin never made it.

Well those aren't threads, which this thread is supposed to link. This is a similar thread however, please add it sho: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-bct-pgpgpg-public-key-database-stake-your-pgp-key-here-1159946

Would have added them anyway. Nice thread though so I will take it. Was a bit surprised to find my own key there.

How about adding some pgp keys to the list.

Theymos: https://bitcointalk.org/theymos.asc
BadBear: https://bitcointalk.org/badbear.asc
Satoshi Nakamoto: https://bitcointalk.org/Satoshi_Nakamoto.asc
Sirius:  https://bitcointalk.org/sirius.asc

Note that these URLs directly download the pgp public key file.

What about listing all known BTC addresses (allegedly) belonging to Satoshi, so anyone could check whether or not there's any activity on them. Not sure how many of them there is, but it's not easy to find that info, so it could be pretty useful.

5/7 would add. Is there a thread for it?

There isn't afaik. I remember trying to find a compiled list of all SN addresses but with no luck (I wasn't trying very hard though). That's why I think it would be useful to list them here (if there is a reliable data anywhere) or in separate thread and link that thread here.

So yes, it would likely involve doing some (a lot?) research. I'll try to get on it if I have more time.

Problem is with that huge guides (even if clearly shown), almost noone want to get through it... its faster to just ask quick question than reading many many pages of text :|

IMHO thats the difficult part about good guides. Keep them short and simple enough without leaving out whats needed. FAQs are probably better for most cases or have subsections you can jump to directly.

And arguably the best option is search.  Most questions have been asked before.  Not all some are unique.

But a suprising amount have been asked multiple times.  Some threads are so big you can't read them all to, and I think some of us realize this. Look at like S3 thread I mean massive if you started now to read to current.

But search is one good option for most questions.
