OP i've found this very interesting thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1235171.new#new

This guy is making a TL;DR version of the developer IRC logs. I always like to read them but sometimes I don't have enough time or I just don't understand what are they talking about. I think being able to read what the developers are talking to each other is great and yet another thing you would never be able to get on a non-open source project (specially of this magnitude)

They are interesting, but it seems they are a regular thing.

2015.10.22 -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-dev-irc-meeting-in-laymans-terms-2015-10-22-1222156
2015.10.29 -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-dev-irc-meeting-in-laymans-terms-2015-10-29-1235171

I added both for now, I might have to think about a different format if they are a constistant thing.

Hi there , isn't this supposed to be sticked ? When I made that topic asking how threads gets sticked people/mods said that a thread to link all is more useful and should be sticked etc .. but I don't see this one sticked ...

Well BadBear said they would rather sticky something like this, not that they would actually sticky it. The request for it in meta died down quickly. The thread is a quick reference and its more usful as sticky, but its not my decision.

Also here is another topic of mine , I'm not sure if it's that useful though : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/edu-read-before-trading-1188179

I think I still have the PDF about the first ARG search. Do you want/need it?

I wrote it Wink
Whoops. I wasn't sure who wrote it, haha. Nevermind.

I know, it does not contain any info about that. I guess I never expected it to be that popular. I will add a link to a post where I linked it (that sounds way more complicated than it is).

Can I get a clarification Shorena on altcoin lists, I was thinking something like Mapofcoins but that would be a thread link or are you referring to websites.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=449824.60 (Threads not updated much)
The map is updated to 2015 September, or are you looking more along the lines of services that accept bitcoin and altcoins in a listing.

(Also sorry didn't see the new forum software was already on the list)

Added, thanks. Dont worry about suggesting threads that are already on the list. Id rather have a few extra suggestions than not enough.

Awsome list! Even found some usefull stuff on there that I hadn't found in 2 years being here.

Any chance to get this stickied? Can help a lot of people on their bitcoin journey!

Glad you like it. There is a request in meta[1] asking for this to get stickied.

On a different note, if anyone has any good (and updated) altcoins/mining lists, overviews, guides etc. please let me know. I found some altcoins threads, but many of them are outdated (e.g. ~a year without update).

Thanks for sharing this one, though what the topic no. 3 in this forum contains made me realize one thing: Satoshi may have leaked his identity in this forum one point in time. Topic no. 3 was deleted permanently due to that.

EDIT: Does necroposting this thread just for the lulz will get me banned? I'm tempted to do so!

Wonder how you missed this one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-ledger-listing-open-and-defaulted-loans-updated-at-least-once-every-24h-1207414 . Its a new idea to keep track of who is lending with/without collateral and prevent double no-collateral loans to the same person multiple times. Good idea IMO.

Nice thread, didnt know about that.

I think you should add this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hacked-accounts-or-accounts-with-lost-passwords-497545 for instructions on how to recover hacked or locked accounts.
