That's very nice and useful thread. I think now everyone can find easily his search target just by checking out this topic. I know good number of newbies and starters with Bitcoin world, they are now members of this forum, and i believe this topic can help them a lot

I'm more then sure that I posted this post right here yesterday but can't seem to find it , I guess it's because of my internet connection or something ...
anyway how to make a faucet : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/so-you-want-to-run-a-faucet-934536
advertising networks that pays with BTc : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-bitcoin-advertising-networks-1108616

EDIT : was reading the previous posts and I guess you can use this for Satoshi quotes : http://crypt.la/2014/01/06/satoshi-nakamoto-quotes/ , either link to the website or make a post and then link to the post instead of making a new thread I suppose

Made a meta note for a pin somewhere before this gets buried post in there to support or I guess critique if you really want to.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pinning-overview-the-one-thread-to-link-them-all-1218072

thanks for the support.

Perhaps under misc if not just as a post here if people read through the thread one day, it's not an old thread but it was worth a note on how many ways there are theoretically to create Bitcoin networks
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1216883.0;topicseen

added. It reminds me of a thread that collected papers. Found two and added them.

Is there a way to pin this thread at the top so it stays visible all of the time?
-snip-

A sticky can be requested in meta AFAIK.

-snip-
A "Satoshi" section with the best threads and posts by him would be good imo.

I like the idea, but I want to collect threads here not individual posts. I made one exception already, but only because the crucial information is not in the OP but a few posts down.

I have a few "whats your favorite satoshi quote" in my watch list, but maybe someone *wink wink* can start a thread with satoshi quotes I could link.

That topic could be found in the off-topic section imo. I have seen one the last time afaik. Idk if it still exists. Let me dig it first. Also, hope that this could be stickied because this serves to be a great reference for new and old users alike.

Added to my watch list. Smiley Mind adding the most vital part in the forum: the list of rules in using this forum. In linking that particular thread here (though it is stickied in Meta already), one can still see it as a reminder of how to use this forum properly.

I added it. Its the only bolded one under Bitcointalk.

Nice sherona, clean and well organised topic  Smiley

Can i suggest to add this (ranks... etc) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608 i didn't see it in the list and I think it is one of the important topic for every new bitcoiners.

IMHO this can be skipped because its covered by the rules and FAQ thread. added it anyway.

Really nice, I was looking for the original infamous 10000 pizza transaction. It turns it was 2 pizzas, so 5000 BTC for 1 pizza, not that bad of a deal Cheesy
I would add to the list the best satoshi quotes. A lot of people come to this forum to learn about satoshi and are curious to see what he was like when he posted. A "Satoshi" section with the best threads and posts by him would be good imo.

Very nice and helpful thread Shorena! Thanks for doing this. This will help a lot of people, new ones and us older ones. I have already seen many useful threads that I wasn't aware of before.

Is there a way to pin this thread at the top so it stays visible all of the time?

Thanks!

Bingo. Found one thread that is very helpful to all people in this forum. Old, but gold. Wink

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1685280

It basically contains few information's that I already listed on my topic , if shorena is okey with it and I can update my topic later and add information's from the link you just posted , that way we will have one topic instead of two and no one get confused .

I dont think its a problem to have more than one thread for the same topic, but I think that particular thread might not get updated anymore. Two or three threads for the same topic can avoid a too narrow view on things.

This is really great, just added it to my bookmark lists and thanks for shorena and all the contributes made by forum members as well ... I was wondering if few other threads could be added to the list ,like for instance a thread for all the coders / developers / designers and etc ... If so, I'll be more than happy to collect information's regarding those
