Can tickets for this event be bought using Pacquiao's upcoming coin?  Lolololol!  Grin

That would be hilarious.

I do hope that Pacman knows what his doing because he is dancing with the devil if he signs with Haymon.
I think Pacman knows what he is doing. After all, they all are after for the money and not for the sports of boxing anymore. Boxing is reduced to a show and not a sports anymore with these manipulation of the so so-called promoters of boxing.
Yes, both fighters knows that this entertainment is no longer in the best interest of their fans, they will fight all for the sake of money, after reading those news about manny, I guess he will use this chance to grab more money before his complete retirement and if he desires to run for much higher position
he can use those clean money, let see if this will attract gamblers and viewers.

Floyd is all about the money, but don't forget he is extremely talented also. Sure he might be in his early forties but Pacquiao isn't much better. They are both welterweights, they're not power punchers so don't be expecting a knockout. Mayweather hasn't knocked anybody out in over 5 years (other than McGregor), but Pacquiao is still got power in those hands knocking out his last opponent in spectacular style.

I would expect that both of them will be walking away with more than $100M this fight, but I doubt Floyd will be getting as much of a payday as he did against McGregor, it's just not as easy to sell a fight against Pacquiao as he doesn't have the big mouth that McGregor had. Regardless, I expect another victory for Floyd, he beat him once convincingly and should struggle to do it again. I expect it will be by MD or UD, a knockout is probably not happening.

My money is on Mr 50-0

Like you said when it come to Floyd is all about the money but when it come to Pacquiao is all about the fight in other for him to proof that Floyd was lucky when he won their previous fight. However, I believed you also seems to understand every well the capacity of Pacquiao when step into the ring and I also believe Floyd himself do either which is the reason why he's hiding all this while.

Manny Pacquiao Aligns Himself With Al Haymon, Eyes Big Fights

Quote
In a move that could pave the way for a 2019 rematch with Floyd Mayweather, eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has aligned himself with powerful adviser Al Haymon

Haymon, who runs Premier Boxing Champions, is the longtime adviser to Mayweather.

Multiple sources with knowledge of the details have confirmed to BoxingScene.com that Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) has indeed signed on with Haymon.

https://www.boxingscene.com/manny-pacquiao-aligns-himself-with-al-haymon-eyes-big-fights--132649

OK. It looks like Manny already signed with Al Haymon. I consider this a indication that indeed the fight with Mayweather will push through probably next year.

I didn't see it coming. I thought that Manny wouldn't sign with anybody when his contract with Bob Arum expires. Might be better for him if he negotiates without any manager, I guess its too hard for him.  Grin

Anyways, everyone really knows that Manny is past his prime and the fight will not generate any buzz from fight fans. The first fight earned a record 4.6 million PPV buys, but If a rematch happen, its not going to get closer to that number, showing that boxing community is not interested.

You think it won't generate the same amount the previous fight does? We don't have the same view in that, I guess when the rematch happen it will still generate big ppv buys why? Because people are eager to see what these two fighter are up their sleeves even they already passed their prime.

Yes, I will stand on my prediction that its not getting close to 4 million PPV its far too stretch to say that it can even get to 2 million buys. I'm a fan of both but who wants to see them fight at this point of their career? Manny won over Mattysse via TKO, yes its a good win, but he is not the same Manny that we all wanted to see fight Mayweather.

His a bit slower now and I don't see him giving Mayweather a good fight and it will be the same result and boxing fans will be disappointed.

Mayweather hasn't had a proper fight for a while now and Pacquiao has been fighting more frequently than Mayweather but we have seen the fight already, we know what will happen, why would we think anything different would happen in this one ?

We know Mayweather is an undefeated champion with iron lungs and can go 12 rounds like a breeze without a trouble, his stamina is unparalleled in any sports and he can beat down his opponent for 12 rounds, whereas Pacquiao has been going for senator job and playing basketball and what not.

The only reasonable person who can beat Mayweather right now would be a young fighter that has been KO'in everyone recently, anyone on their performance high, people like Pacquiao can't compete anymore.

Hmm.. This is very interesting, I'm not saying this is true but every boxing fans needs to pounder

This week it has been widely reported that Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao may have done a deal, or be on the verge of doing a deal with US boxing manager Al Haymon.

So maybe, just maybe this is the reason why everything went very quiet after Floyd supposedly announce a second fight with Manny. Perhaps this is one agreement being works, if Manny wants to fight Floyd, then he has to sign with Al Haymon. Another interesting note though that there's also news going around the Floyd might fight Broner and then Manny in 2019, so let's see how everything develop though.
Thank you for the update. However, it doesn't make sense at all for Pacman to move from one snake (Uncle Bob) to Al Haymon. For those who are not familiar with Al Haymon, he is one of the most powerful boxing manager today.

[1]Al Haymon – devil incarnate or accidental saviour of boxing?
[2]What we know about Al Haymon: Part I
[3]What we know about Al Haymon: Part II

I do hope that Pacman knows what his doing because he is dancing with the devil if he signs with Haymon.

Again it boils down to how much money Pacquiao can get out of the Floyd Mayweather fight (hundred of millions of dollars). So if he needed to sign the dotted line to get the fight then it would make sense for him to do. As we have said before, boxing is already a business so I wouldn't be surprise if Manny fights under Al Haymon.

I don't think that there will be difference in the second fight either. Well Floyd is good at adjustments but Manny is not that kind of fighter. So I wouldn't see any difference in the fighting style of Manny that will make him win this fight not unless he hits Floyd with his potent left hand. But I'm not seeing that possibility, Floyd is very intelligent.

I think this is the more reason why Manny Pacquiao will be fighting the undefeated Floyd Mayweather again. Not because he knows that there might be no difference on the fighting styles or because Floyd is smarter than Manny.

The more reason is that people or boxing fans think that he can't win on his another fight with Floyd Mayweather, if this will be a thing. There are a lot of proofs that undefeated boxers are not really great every time, they are still vulnerable and there are times that even teeny-tiny mistake they made can make the fight turn around.

One thing I noticed about this fight between Manny and Floyd, after that surprise announcement, theres no more news about it. No follow up to hype up the fight. I am beginning to think hat they are just testing the waters if there's still interest with their 2nd match. If they plan to fight this December, there should be a follow up event about it to keep the interest of the boxing fans.

Exactly!! Thats how the real business rolls! IMO, this match still sells the crowd, regardless if these both fighters are out of their prime, as both of them are hall of famers, and people are eager to watch Manny avenge his controversial loss. But, real boxing fan wont buy it. Because whats going to happen is pure business. No entertainment, its not even called sport. If they want, they could even rig the fight to protect Floyd's legacy. Business is business. Just my opinion.

Or perhaps they're secretly negotiating?

Or maybe you're right, after the initial salvo, we can't find any news related to it. We all know that if Mayweather has a upcoming fight, he usually promotes it on this social media. The last tweet was about Sept 16, a video showing him and Manny in a party or concert.

https://twitter.com/FloydMayweather/status/1041566284251422721
We all now how Floyd promotes his upcoming fight or even those that he sponsored or he is the promoter. He always mention it in his social media sites specially in Instagram. But for this one, they are quiet about it. They should have at least give their boxing fans an update on whats going on and whats the latest will be a good thing instead of leaving their fans hanging and speculating if the fight is on or not.
Yes, he seems quiet about it but that doesn't mean the fight will take place cause if the whole thing is not truth he won't have mentioned it on his twitter account in the first place and in the video posted on twitter the two seems to have some beef going on. However, we all know that this is not just a fight, never too late for the negotiation to happen.

I am also interested for any update on their fight but it seems it was just a fluke. It would probably make fans happy if the fight happens and there should be announcements or contract signing with regards to the fight.

They pretty are indeed testing out. I am so sure tho that manny really wanted this fight unlike floyd who is just actually taking time and experimenting wanting to know how people reacts.

Since they are still negotiating. It is still really too hard to give an update based on the on going negotiation which is not yet final. The announcement as well was just less than a month so it is still too early for the new announcement for the fight IMO.

If Manny isnt flexible or making adjustments then he wont really get those belts from different divisions. If we do count it off then no doubt and its clear that he can face up any adjustments if he needs to.
That has been proven with his career.

Management's won't also announce something if there's an assurance that the fight will happen. They might working on other things to make this fight happen. There's also another offer for Manny to fight Jeff Horn for rematch too so I think that the decision will depend on Manny and if the negotiation will be agreed between the two sides.
