Whatever the decisions of the promoters and management, i will still support the nation's pride Manny Pacquiao. Besides, we all know that the last match isnt fair and Manny also wants to prove he can defeat Mayweather in K.O. together with his cheating managers and staffs. Dont care if he's going out on his retirement.
The decision is on both sides if they could agree to what, when or where they have to settle everything for the sake of rematch. But i strongly believe that Manny wouldn't want it to settle it on Las Vegas ring, i bet he would. He once cheated by them, he doesn't want it to happen again because he can see the favor already on that ring and also to the cheating judges before.

@btc_angela. It is the fight business. I reckon greed is the motivation for everyone involved, from the fighters themselves, their managers, trainers, agents and the promoters and everyone else who will make the money.
Not only on boxing but in all sorts of sports as well.Anything involves money and this is just a usual stuff. The higher the HYPE = The higher the income.

In all honestly, I don't think that Marquez will fight Pacquiao again. He has retired already and was very happy to get a win against Manny and he will cherished it as the man who KO the great Manny Pacquaio.

Of course Floyd will support Broner, as Adrien is his 'little bro'. And they are both on Al Haymon's influence, so no surprised there. Wondering though if Floyd make a huge bet that Broner will win against Manny.
He has the money to make bets with Adrien since he do support it and he wont mind if he loss or not as long he wont really support his opponent(Manny Pacquiao).

If negotiations still ongoing then there would always be a possibility that this fight would really happen but theres no exact date but as a boxing fans we are really eager to see such rematch.

Agree. We really need to see a rematch and I'm sure there's a lot of fans eagerly awaiting it. One of the most anticipated rematch, but all we can do it wait. Floyd always brags about his betting, I remember, football or something he went and big huge amount and won and show it in his social media, about $100K or more if I'm not mistaken. So there's no surprises if he bet for his man, Adrien Broner.

I found an article that said it will be announce by Saturday.
RUMOUR:Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao rematch ‘to be announced on Saturday,’ believes Eddie Hearn
We need some legit and reliable source for this fight but I really think this is about to happen soon.

Marquez already declined a lot of offers to fight Manny at any given time and amount of money. For Marquez, its not about the money at stake but its teh pride of winning against his nemesis. Imagine there was a time when Marquez was running around where Manny will go just to convince Manny to fight him or a rematch. But on their 3rd fight, Marquez was able to pull a convincing win.

So now there's 2 matches that haunts Manny Pacquiaos mind. A rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez and Floyd Mayweather. Amonth the 2 matches, I would rather watch a rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez than bore my self watching Floyd Mayweather run around the ring to avoid a slugfest with Manny Pacquiao. But that is if Juan Manuel Marquez will come out from his retirement which is very much unlikely to happen.
Agreed Pacquiao really dominated against Marquez in all 6 rounds, but Marquez got lucky with his counter punch against him and it KOd Pacman face down. It shocked a lot of people even me as I really didn't expect that kind of turn of events especially when Marquez's face was all bloody and swollen with all the punishment he received. But the problem with this rematch not happening is that Marquez was last active in 2014 and I doubt that he is in shape to fight a rematch against Pacman.

I just wish they start to talk about date and place, I mean when it is just "they will fight" there is really no point of discussing it over nothing. Right now, we are talking about a fight that is not even set yet, maybe something will happen and they will decide not to fight anymore. As long as there is no contract and there is nothing that keeps them from backing up from the fight we can't really trust what they say. We need to see a set fight date and place.

I am 99% sure it will be Las Vegas as usual because that is the one place people go when there is a huge fight but I still think a date is really needed in order to get this to a "reality" so we can actually start to talk about it. At least we will watch both of them fight before they fight each other, that way we can see if they have lost a step or not.

They're probably just adding more spice to the fight before we can finally see a date. Obviously it won't happen this year and Pacquao vs Broner is already set. Yes, I agree its probably in Las Vegas again, which makes sense because of the huge money this two are going to put up.

@thejaytiesto - The Wilder vs Fury is very interesting, but we are off-topic, probably will open a thread when the fight gets closer, P.S. Roach will be at the corner of Fury so it adds another parameters on the said fight.

Floyd said he wanted a tune up fight before Pacman 2. I would do a tune up fight, do a Pacman rematch and retire, but he will probably be too tempted to fight in the future again, perhaps Khabib on a boxing match for an huge payday. Dana White says no but Khabib is becoming big enough to do his own thing. Floyd should win all of these fights by decision as usual, but if he keeps fighting he may fuck it up eventually, specially if he keeps spending too much and is forced to fight for money.

Anyway cant wait for Tyson vs Wilder. 100 bucks for a quick Wilder KO sounds fun but most likely Tyson can bring it to UD.

I don't think that Juan Manuel Marquez is interested to fight Manny because as far as I can remember, he was offered to get out of retirement when Pacquiao is still under Bob Arum's but he refuses to do so. For him the chapter has been sealed with him knocking the hell out of Pacquiao. The chances though with Floyd 2 is likely, because he is know under Al Haymon and we all know that Al is very close or we can say that Al is sort of advisor of Floyd besides Leonard Ellerbe. I wouldn't imagine Manny getting Broner though, anyways looks like its a done deal so its going to be a fun and exciting fight.

I agree with you, I don't think Juan Manuel Marquez will get out of retirement to fight Manny Pacquiao. He already got his sweet revenge to Manny Pacquiao. I remember the time when Juan Manuel Marquez is still trying to convince Manny Pacquiao to sign the contract for an immediate rematch after his to Manny Pacquiao. Juan Manuel Marquez visited Philippines and ask for the rematch but Manny Pacquiao did not give it to Juan Manuel Marquez right away. I was even lucky enough to have a picture together with Juan Manuel Marquez in a restaurant where Juan Manuel Marquez checked in.

Even when the fight of Floyd Mayweather in Tokyo is cancelled, I don't think this fight with Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will happen. No more noise coming from both sides and I guess the fight of Manny Pacquiao with Broner is a done deal.

I agree with you, JMM will not fight Pacman anymore even if he will be offered tons of money  Grin. The way i see it, all he wants is just a win from a Pacman fight to seal his career and be remembered in history as the one of the fighter that knocks out Manny. That fight Manny is leading the score cards in my view and only that lucky punch from JMM changed the outcome.
Money vs Manny 2 is probable to both Floyd and Pacquiao for now. Floyd needs the money while Manny has unfinished business with Floyd, just as simple as that  Grin.
Yes, its just one Hail-mary shot that Juan Marquez, knocking Pacquiao out cold for good. I think Manny was able to get back during that fight and it might be true that he leads on the scorecard. Anyways, I still think that Floyd vs Manny 2 will happen in 2019 after the Broner fight. Of course both of them will earn huge amounts of money so obviously they will push for it in Q2 next year.

.. i also don't think Manny Pacquiao is interested in facing Floyd Mayweather.

He want a rematch definitely. As he mentioned, he can't retire with peace of mind with that defeat.

Pacquiao says Mayweather the reason why he can’t retire yet

The reason why he don't speaks about the rematch thing in any of his speaking engagement is because it will harm the promotion of his upcoming fight with Broner*. But he throw up some statement about that in his recent interview.

I guess the fight between Manny Pacquiao Vs Floyd Mayweather this December will not happen since both fighters are booked on different days.
That accidental meeting between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is nothing but just testing the waters.
That's right, time isn't enough for Manny to have two fights with a short monthly allowance. Training, practicing and preparation is insufficient for him. As far as I remember it should be around 6 months or more.

And with their meeting on Japan, I think its not a testing of the waters but its a coincidence where they have their own negotiation to meet there. If ever someone who's close to the both of them was them, he just faced the two for a talk or they already talked about this fight but still has a lot of details to talk to.
This is right, where fight preparation wont really be that enough for a short period of time but if its really being settled it can still be set out.Eventually they are both fighting another fighters instead.
This do signify that it can still possible to bout on a short time.In short, that was just pure coincidence.

We would really like to see the rematch but they do set out into others either their own decision or their promoter.
Floyd already went out of his retirement so we can expect some fights to come on his side.

And this fight against Manny Pacquiao is very possible to happen, however they have their own fights to settle and they need to face those first. I highly believe that this fight will be settled soon, maybe on 2019 this is going to be the fight of the year.
