Hi Everyone, I am giving you a news update on Bitcoin mining in China. A few days ago a chines citizen whose name is Xiao Ye was arrested in China for mining bitcoin. He was a govt person and use his power for this purpose and mining of bitcoin is illegal in China. The police arrested him and the court started a trial against him as a result the court sentenced him to full life in prison due to his illegal activity. The mining operation's worth is 2.4 billion yuan which is $329 million. He used his own governmental power to provide financial and electricity subsidies to the operation.

Xiao return the stolen fund and its profit has been seized. Remember that the chines govt ban cryptocurrency and ICO(initial coin offering) in 2017.

In 2019 the govt ordered the banks and other payment processors not to help or provide any services to the cryptocurrency business and in 2021 the govt ban or stop the mining operations in the country.

The recent arrest of official person is sending a message to others that China is more serious of continue its ban on cryptocurrency.
