This error usually happens if the daemon is already running (or in process of quitting).

I actually created a particl.conf file and entered daemon=0 and now the Particl Wallet is starting without error. particld.exe still fires up so not sure why this is working.

Also noticed that the new particl core 0.15.1.0 is not being downloaded automatically when starting the Particl Wallet... I even tried replacing the particld.exe in the AppData\Roaming\Particl Wallet\particld\unpacked folder with the 0.15.1.0 version and when I restarted the wallet, it reverted to 0.15.0.4

Forgot to mention before that I have cold staking setup. Do I even need to run the particld locally when I have Particl Wallet running?

Is it normal that in Particl Wallet GUI there's no access to coin control, options and most important to me the daemon debug console? or is it just the windows version who miss that?
Except all that, it's a really cool looking wallet, i'm still going to use the qt wallet until the daemon debug console is available. Good job team. Wink

Great news, the hard work's paying off fellas, people are starting to notice PART.

For now I hold patiently while I wait for the alpha marketplace, this is the "use case" we've all been waiting for.

OpenBazaar is great and all, and has started to become busier of late but it still uses Bitcoin (or Shapeshift) so it's neither very practical (in fees/time) nor private.

I think Particl will be the first real decentralized marketplace and the first coin to really bridge the gap between cryptoland and the real world. Exiting stuff.

I've lost track quite a time ago regarding the activity around Shadowcash and the respective team. Is the whole team now dedicated to developing Particl?

The majority of the team is developing Particl. We've also more than doubled the team... I think we're around 17-18 people, majority which are full-time (15)

I added Particl to the Cheddur app (https://www.cheddur.com/) by request! This will allow new users to learn about Particl and join the community. Cheddur allows you to link wallets, exchanges, and other services that support Particl so that new users can easily get started. You can also review the project and post your PART addresses on your profile to receive tips / payments / donations in PART from other users

Can others from the community please review the profile for quality and help me add supported services? The more active the Particl profile is (via user reviews and addresses), the higher it ranks in search results and the more likely newcomers are to discover the Particl project!
