This two are the keys to any investor, you can expect instant results, if the coin you invested is good time will give its reward, bitcoin is a proof of those, as well eth, and few more altcoins. I had lost an amazing opportunity to make 3x more the capital i had invested but i were happy to had made the deal before wich allowed me to breath a bit financial.
That's the first thing you must learn before learning to read chart. You have to discipline yourself from controlling your emotion and being patient. Most of us when the price gets dump, we panic sell thinking we might got wrecked. But after selling that's when the price pumps. Patience. We have to be patient all the time. When many says, HODL. HODL it.
Some people at the dump stage usually panic most especially newbies and it pretty sucks when they end up realizing they have been fooled and then the price keeps coming back up and they just have to get back in at loss.Over time, that experience has made a lot of people to realize that you cannot survive in this world with panic and getting emotional, except for you being patient. A time will come when your investment has grown that you would bother less if a dump is occurring or not and you only even buy more at those stages.

Yeah I know that it's really struggle because I also experience the same thing. I learned from that mistake but if you but if you think about it, it really ain't bad because you still gain profits from it.
Thats is how we learned from our experiences. Do not regret about it because if bad things happen you will be thankful to that as well. It doesn't matter how high you've got but how you survive you're first time with a good profit. On holding, it needs a long and strong patience, where you cannot be petrefied during the dumps which can cause for profit to fall and lose the value.

It´s also a mistake to reinvest 100%. Another point to be taken is that the market is hard to beat. So we are daytrading like hell, loosing sleep hours, and when the maths is done, we may have been winning, but not as much as we would for just holding. Because in these markets BTC is skyrockting so sometimes is very difficult to overcame that growth and beat it.
I have problem with greedy. The good rule is not reinvest 100% of profit but i am always fall in the same hole many time. Now i am trying to skip greedy.
In trading you should practice patience for long tern investment while abrupt trading for long tern but with proper indication and study plus gut feeling sometime.

The value of the bitcoin rises 720% in this year. It is obvious that holding our bitcoin can really make us rich. I will hold my bitcoins for me to have a good future. Yes if you really want to such big profit from crypto than you should need patience and holding crypto for long term.

You should be patient enough if you want to invest in Bitcoin.You have to understand that the only way you can make profits from your investments is by holding your BTC's. You must have enough patience to hold your BTC's instead of commiting the mistake of panic selling when the price falls down because the price will again rise and if you will hold your BTC's you will make huge profits. Bitcoinis rising at a very fast rate and it has a bright and positive future .So have patience and keep holding your BTC's.

I think you should spend more time to select the right altcoints to invest. It's better than just spilit your assets and investing in many kinds of crypto currencies. Than lose some here, some overthere and after all, nothing left.

As the old saying goes "patience is a virtue". if you want something good results to come from whatever u are doing then you should be more patient. There's no problem Holding your coins or money for some times. Practicing those traits are beneficial in the near future.
