I am actually a patient person. Maybe that is why I don't like to make sharp rapid decisions during trading. I don't trade at all. Be wise and cold-blooded is necessary for making strategical investments.

Many people participating FUD since they lack patience but some really needs money right away like for emergency purpose. Not a right excuse either for me. Before you put money on crypto make sure it is your savings and not other kind like emergency as I said earlier. If really wanted fast profit then invest on bitcoin. Putting money on altcoin depends on its demand so if the altcoin is new then expect the demand is low yet thus expect it to be a long term holding.

I also agree that patience is the key, now that the situation in crypto is not good, its always better to have patience because you will never know what will happen next. If you keep your patience, then thre is a big chance for your money to grow bigger.

Sometimes experience is the key also because if you are well experienced in crypto you know what to do incase of bleeding market or green market. You already know how to handle your emotions ,your instinct and timing. While it is easy to say or predict the project will deliver over a 10 year period, the question remains will it perform better or worse than comparable projects or even BTC and ETH (as platforms and ecosystem)? What effect can have a new competition that will learn from the mistakes of early attempts? The war for users/adoption is rarely won by the best product itself (marketing, PR, support, documentation,etc. - all becomes relevant), will the future team be able to fight successfully for this goals and build a relevant userbase around the protocol? While I am sure the blockchain and smart contract platforms (including interoperability) are here to stay and grow it is hard or impossible to predict which projects will prevail, especially when talking about a 10 year period.

Patience is the most important factor to be successful in life, without it, doesn't matter how smart you are, doesn't matter how much you put in the work what you do, without being PATIENT, you are doomed to failure, This is a universal law of our universe, everything needs time, when you're a 2yrs old kid, you can't be more developed then guy who is 18, when you plant a tree, this tree doesn't grow day by day, this PROCESS, needs TIME, a lot of time, after 30-100yrs a seed become a really big tree, you can think about alts right now as a seed, which is planted and is ready to grow, months by months, years by years, alts can become something bigger then we can think can be, like this small seed who become a gigantic tree after long time, I know everybody knows this, but looks like most people FORGET about this, how important is time here.

patience is very important, but we must be smarter in deciding quickly in short trading patterns, sometimes patience will be disastrous because the trend is not always the same, this is not suitable for day traders. but I find it convenient to combine the two patterns and make more leverage on the cutloss and so on from the applicable analyzes and indicators.
